I remember Brawl had more of a focused campaign but was it really that fleshed out? I wasn't really into Smash back then, didn't have a GameCube.
Dude all of Ravenholm in HL2 is a tech demo. HL2 is still one of the greatest games of all time.
What this needs is a massive campaign storyline. Single player or co-op. Have characters travel between franchises and some kind league of bad guys crossing over between games. Make it epic, ala how Mortal Kombat does it. Between story moments transition seamlessly to combat arenas. About the only thing to set it apart from the last games.
Uhhhh, already done in the last one?
Kinda hard to imagine them outdoing Ultimate, but if I were him I'd stick to retirement. Go out on that high note.
Same new dashboard hype every generation.
I can't believe so many developers are distressed over how good BG3 is going to be. They are really threatened by it, and I'm happy about that.
They may have the money but any company's success isn't in maintaining payroll, it's maintaining profit margins. And if one starts to slip payroll is the first to be cut.
Is the Crew actually going for Forza though? It's never been sim or sim-lite or anything. It was always loose and arcadey like you're describing.
The 50 minute preview by vaatividya sold me entirely on this game. Looks incredible
I sure am glad that a toy is here to confirm what I clearly saw in the trailers.
Fitting for the type of game it is
I'm going to give my unqualified, Internet opinion here: Pikmin looks boring af and that's why people like me don't buy it.
Now for my unqualified, Internet armchair CEO opinion: I wonder why Nintendo spends so many resources and marketing on games mid tier games like this instead of feeling the pulse of it's own fan base. Where's Metroid prime 4? Zelda HD ports? F Zero? Star Fox (give this series another chance without your stupid forced gimmickry)
Lol! What a game. Had a lot of fun with it. Beat it multiple times!
So shocked by this. Totally didn't see this coming. This was the game everyone was looking forward to....
Are you including BG3 in that comparison? Or just the first 2? The first 2 are tough to get into now, and I never liked the ad&d rules. The 5e rules are much easier to grasp. But BG3 seems to be just DOS2 but times 10. Haven't played it in early access at all, just going by what I see online.
I would still love a xenosaga trilogy remaster, but I don't believe that was square anymore. Namco maybe? Don't remember.
I enjoyed xenogears for the part that I played of it. It's been a long time.
Then see Otters comment above about Dynasty Warriors.
I mean I was planning on getting digital anyways, but that's a huge bummer for those that prefer to have the disc!
Pre ordered for ps5 earlier today!
