It's definitely geared toward the eSports crowd, but I feel like it's still simplified enough that the casual fighting gamer (like me) can string together enough of a combo to do fine. Granted I don't play online at all. I loved MK11. I'll take another one like it vs going back to say MK Armageddon. I really keep hoping for a remaster of MK9 too.
Wasn't there a boycott pledge thing where the boycotters put there money towards some trans thing, and raised a few thousand dollars? It amounted to something like 75 people pledging to boycott total. Lol. The original PlayStation was overloaded with incredible jrpgs so relatively speaking this one is mediocre. But your 3 complaints I don't get. The side quest thing maybe, because it really only had the stardust quest which was awful! But the additions were great and keeps you engaged the entire game in every battle, and the dragoon thing I get, but at the same time every single boss in a final fantasy game has unlimited mp and you don't, so what's the difference between that?
View it through the lens of the late 90s and it's incredible. Otherwise you might be put off by how many times Shana is sent to the kitchen to make meals for the boys. Lol.

I don't want it easier. I like the challenging battles, I just want to be able to notice the indicator a little easier.
For me maybe a more visible protego/counter indicator. I'm usually really good at combat systems like this like Arkham or Spiderman where they flash a warning to counter an enemy attack. For some reason I have a hard time noticing the yellow/red danger warning around my character's head and am late to throwing up protego. I'm usually focused on watching the enemy I'm targeting while attacking, and the only way I catch the counter warning in time is if I focus on watching my ch...

They're still allowing non-canon content though, just making it under the Else World banner. Like The Batman and Joker movies are non-DCU movies. I don't see why they wouldn't also allow this for games. Maybe I'm wrong, only time will tell.

Xbox is just a regular PC isn't it? Nothing proprietary? They can get it working fine just not in the series S I think. Doesn't meet the minimum requirements they want (bc of the splitscreen demands), and they don't want to downgrade their game for it, which I applaud.
