for an MMO it looks really good. but i wouldn't pay a monthly fee to play any game.
these "greatest game ever" conversations are a waste of time. each person decides for his/herself what games they consider "great". i know i could never decide on the "greatest" game i've ever played because i've played too many good ones and even better games are coming.
how can ps3 be inferior-it has less than a 1% failure rate while 360 has an over 30% failure rate? also, when or if ms can show a game that looks like HS, ratchet,MGS4,FF, or KZ2 you can talk about which console is inferior.

HD is great. i got 300 on blu-ray and it's amazing. a buddy brought his SD version over and we watched it for a few minutes. even upscaled to 720p this looked pitiful next to BR. anyone who says HD is a scam doesn't care about the quality of the picture they're watching. the writer of the article is giving his own subjective views and comes across as an poorly informed idiot. as do many of the posts i've read.

i played gears start to finish on single and co-op. i was disappointed with the lack of a storyline.(evil aliens coming out of ground-this gets old)also, the gameplay was too linear. and enemies tended to come out in bunches at certain spawn points. also, weapons were disappointing as well as the weak, cheesy end fight. graphically speaking, KZ2 has left me stunned. is the comment-"i heard the framerate stutters on the ps3 version"- xgirls response to their systems hardware failure rate. because all of a sudden every xgirl starts off with this statement, but non-x360 owners haven't heard it. you don't hear cnn,msnbc,fox news doing stories on the ps3 framerate but you hear plenty about 360 failure and disc scratching issues and the class-action lawsuits that have been started as a result.

i don't like the tom clancy games. but, i did play this on my buds 360 when it came out. both of us think it looks lots better on the ps3. i still don't want to play it but ps3 version looks to be superior.
the mart must not have all his stories straight. ziff davis has been in trouble for years and it looks like they're going under-and taking egm with them.so while marts looking for egm, i'd advise people to go to gameinformer.
egm reviewed lair and it wasn't even a finished game. i'm not buying lair, but i've never been impressed with that magazine. probably one of the reasons ziff davis is going bankrupt.

that screen looks like it's from the wii? if it's a 360 screen, then the developers really dropped the ball. and if it is a 360 screen, they better fix up the ps3 version or don't even bother releasing it.
