it sounds like they haven't addressed many of the issues that have dogged the system.
you equate this with some kind of loss for sony or win for microsoft? you are as psychotic a fanboy as any on this site. get a life.
all joking aside, you say you like to play with your wii during a party?
the wii sells because it is cheap. it's cheaper than the 360 or the ps3. that's it. no conversation necessary. if sony or ms get their price down, it's game over for nintendo. if you like nintendo, i don't mean to sound insulting. but, this is just reality
but you are ignoring something. the reason microsoft got into the games business is just what you said. they don't want sony controlling the living room. so are you saying that ms "utopian vision" is the one consumers should embrace? i say let the companies put out their product and people should buy what they want. any company has a right to market their products. it sounds like you don't like sony.
i think it isn't a question of no games for ms in '08. but it's curious that ms isn't hyping any games in the next year. we have all heard details of a consoles games well in advance of their release. it just seems odd that now ms is decided to go against what they(and all other game companies) have done up until now. if they want these games in '08 to have buzz, they need to talk about them like they have done with gears, PGR.forza, bioshock, mass effect. heck, even viva pinata, kameo, and pe...
the x360 failure rate is real and it's the most interesting story going at this point. both systems have their good and bad points, but when one has a horrendous 30-40% failure rate and you choose to ignore it; then, that makes you a blind fanboy and nothing more
and i agree. i own a ps3 and like it a lot. i want to get a 360 but until this hardware failure rate is under control- i gotta wait. this is just good consumer sense.
if hd-dvd is cheaper then why do retail discs cost more than blu-ray?
i wish others who submit news could be as non-biased as you.
you make no sense and your typing is terrible. what are you on a killzone thread if you hate it so much? i advise anyone who sees this guys crap to do what i'm doing and hit ignore....bye bye
resistance is the best so far. and it's not even close.
i thought bioshock was lots of fun but not perfect. i don't like this ratings crap but if i was to rate it i'd give it an 8.5
i like rumble but i don't need it to enjoy a game. and how about this:
1.how does a bomb exploding around you(in a game)correlate to vibration being felt only in the hands? is that make for a more realistic experience?
2. when your char. is whacked in the head, how does vibration in the hands effectively convey this?
rumble can be effective in some situations, but it's not the "be all; end all" for every situation
in jan. '06 microsoft said the 360 failure rate was only 3-5%. do you believe everything a corporate shill says?
when this game comes out it will be a holiday for me. i'll be playing all day.
how many "news" stories are going to be about a game "looking better" on the 360 or "looking better" on the ps3? this sh1t is getting old.
none of those games make me want a 360. maybe gears2 if it develops a more meaningful story.
but the ps3 has had better games in the first 10 months of its existance than 360 did. i think people should wait till fall of '08 before judgements are made.
your comment that "halo 3 will live up to the hype" says why you don't understand why people didn't like halo 2 campaign. all the halo fans will buy and like this game even if it isn't great. unless you are a devout halo fan, how can you say that you KNOW halo 3 will live up to the hype? i think the whole series is a good, standard shooter-nothing more. RFOM and bioshock are better games with much better stories.
