i've been playing the ratchet demo over and over and it never gets old. can't wait for the demo of this game either. the more i see of it the more i want!
this isn't an attack against gears. it's just showing that you can pull stuff out of games that looks like bad AI when the overall game is very good.

that's funny, i didn't get that at all. he said they chose blu-ray because they felt it was the better format.(meaning they didn't take money to back a particular format like paramount did)

i think that would be a slap in the face to all 360 owners. and ms cut off support for original xbox as soon as 360 came out. what makes you think that they would support the 360 if they launch another system?
this isn't necessarily criticism of ms. microsoft did this with the first xbox. it barely got to be 4 years old before they brought out a new system. so, it is very possible that they could do this again. i think it would be a mistake, but they could do it.
i don't care if it's sony, ms, nintendo or whoever else; with dev costs for games getting higher, bringing out new systems in less than 6-7 years(at least) will do nothing but set the devs back and force them to learn new hardware AND lead to higher game prices. the very idea that ms would bring out another sysem after four years(that then makes 2 in eight years)is crazy.

the only thing special about halo series-it's the only first party fps microsoft has had. he11, it's one of only a couple of successful first party games ms has EVER had. easy for an average shooter to stand out when the first party pickings are so slim
is that KZ2 will be held to a different standard than those other games you mentioned? you're saying that killzone has to be a different kind of fps or it isn't any good, while a game like halo can have the same tired gameplay as the previous two and get a free pass? sounds like you write for EGM.

the whole article is a fanboy blog on an x360 site. wow, really suprised at what was said. and there is no spin required. i have a ps3 and am very happy with it. 360 is a good system too but only 1 game i would want.(bioshock) this should be a great site for game news and discussion. but it's overly subjective, flame-war crap like this that won't allow it to happen. and you aren't any better than nasim, evil angel.
if that's the case, would the game play exactly the same? it seems, if there would be more story added at the end, then there would have to be some additional gameplay added the second time through. that would be really cool if it were like that.
