a company that has easily controlled the last 2 generations of gaming doesn't get it? ps3 has only been out 10 months. 2008 will be first year with all 3 consoles having been out at least 1 full year. end of '08 will give good indication of who majority of consumers favor.

the article is about halos' potential sales at launch. why are most of the posts about liking halo or not? anyway, ms needs more of these types of games to try to make a dent in the record losses they have suffered since entering the gaming industry. halo, for ms is imp. and the advertising needs to go all out to financially capitalize on it as much as possible. but, they need more first party titles that pack this kind of punch if they ever want to see overall profits.

this isn't meant to be a negative view of the overall game, but the handling physics seemed odd. the cars kinda floated over the roads like boats in water.

i do agree that there are people who try to make something uncool just because they don't like it. the greatness of halo has eluded me. i don't like the story and it seems like a standard shooter but i don't ignore the fact that it is a mega-popular series. the fans of halo have every right to be excited.
