360 is also limited by DVD9. by fall of '08, disc space will be big limitation for ms.

what you are doing is just perpetuating the problem. to point the finger at one side of the ms versus sony fanboy problem just shows you are biased. next time you feel the need to talk about fanboy problems; include problems on boths sides. i will agree with you in one regard. there are too many fans ON BOTH SIDES that take the loyalty too seriously and should just enjoy the games.

this isn't a game on a dvd9. the cutscenes on a BD look spectacular.
it is being said that 50 gig BD are on the way. maybe they'll get bigger? but the question you bring up begs the next question: what then of a console that currently uses DVD9? will ms screw their fans over again by releasing a console after only 4 years? and abandoning the current 360 when they do?.....lots of interesting questions
the only thing EA is good at any more is buying off the competition. insomniac may not be as big, but they are a he11 of a lot better.
halo, resident evil,jak and daxter, PGR,forza,gran turismo, soul caliber,COD, ninja gaiden,dead or alive,tekken,MGS4, mario, zelda, metroid,smash brothers....i could go on but you get the idea. there are sequels to all kinds of great series on all consoles. you miss out on some great gaming by saying this.
yea, what about that end scene with hale being taken away in the plane? and how do the cloven fit in and who is the russian leader hale found a picture of. and what's the deal with all of those giant structures being buried on earth? can't wait for resistance 2!
i keep playing the ratchet demo over and over but it doesn't get old. uncharted coming from naughty dog in november. then hopefully resistance 2 next near followed by the next jak and daxter. totally cool!

looks like a slow week. halo may be ok but i just don't like the art direction. they market it like it's a gritty, harrowing story of survival against a brutal warlike species, but make the color scheme of the game resemble the "merry old land of Oz".come on bungie, if it's a nasty war with aliens, use the art direction to capture the mood.
my friend shawn bought first "viva" for his boy. they played it for about an hour- AND NEVER WENT BACK. you have a right to pick your games but i think that choice is a mistake. anyways, good luck with party animals.
one other thing: the idea that viva pinata series has huge appeal of any kind? check out how well the first game did. it was a bomb of epic proportions.
i own a ps3 and am very happy with it. but, for many people, it's just too expensive. if sony wants continued success over its rivals, they need the price to be 399$. just that simple. put out a system without wi-fi and reduce hard drive to 40 gig. it's the right thing to do for all the ps2 owners out there who can't afford the current price.
thats because the 360 was a poor quality piece of hardware that was rushed to launch in order to beat sony out the door. and the failure rate still hasn't gone away. plus, the features that make the 360 better were ALREADY on the ps3. think before you post
