@Agent
yea the graphics in this game are soso. it clearly can be done on the 360.
/sarcasm
If I remember, the PS2 slim used an external power supply? Given that, it's possible this "new iteration" of PS3 will be using an external. Also a slim bd-drive is available considering Samsung has what? The world's slimmest bd-player in the market at the moment? One mighty elegant player as well!

If it's...
@Sev
"Add another $10 per unit then. They are trying to reduce cost.
No one gets why they are doing this. They HAVE to.
Some people are never happy. What matters more? A cheaper market penetrating PS3, or a super sexy PS3?
If you answer super sexy PS3, then go buy one now at the current price."
Funny you mention this, but people don't seem to get it. Sony cut costs & take out some features so that consumers can earnestly tell themselves ...
Regardless, they seem to have FNR4 demo already and playing it. From my understanding, you can also "share" downloads up to 5 times I think on PSN ... so they could be spreading the wealth ;-)
What this means is that sure, the rest of the PS3 owners w/o the preorders have to wait, but it also means that those w/ preorders have already been playing. They've been playing before that May 28th date.
Lmao Pheen. ;-) I saw the media cover this (not just n4g but Fox news as well) so I was curious. But yes there's no gameplay whatsoever and it's nothing compared to some crazier flash games out there. no pun intended.
^^ Funny that you say
"First of all dont talk to me as if you know me,"
and yet you make an assumption that Japanese people don't get laid so they make crap like this.
something about the shadows of the guys as they walk down the road bugs me. And the one segment with one of the guys standing on the rubble and his foot is "on air".
just some minor things. anyway, loved the first one. Hope drake's just as charming in this one.
edit: oh yea and the water didn't have his reflections. Anyone know if Sully makes a return ?
You can actually find this on a torrent or rapidshare easily. But like Thom said there's really no gameplay to it.
I don't really see why the media is getting all over this game. Japan has a huge community of eroge and there are far crazier games, movies, anime, hentai, etc than this RapeLay game. Even their "general audience" public tv anime is more risque than it ever was 10-20 years ago. Makes AdultSwim look like its wearing diapers.
^^ Price drop on current design and $399 on PS3 slim (if real) maybe ?
All these pictures of the "PS3 slim" legit or not coupled with Dell throwing out ~$300 PS3 deals for these past two months - kinda like its hinting something.
Dj's right in some cases you know... there were quite some online games back before the 360 or the Xbox was out. Dreamcast had some and the PS2 had some. You can't possibly forget FF11. The oldschool Xbox had Live but it started out as a small community, and garnered into a huge one with the 360. You could say the 360 took online console gaming much further.
And you don't need achievements or trophies to make a game worth playing again. GTA always had their easter eggs or ...
Pictures other than the box are of the top half of the case buddy. You can make out someone's hand/gloves holding it on the picture w/ the usb ports.
Edit: Come to think of it I think the last picture w/ the usb ports is the bottom half of the case. If this is real, it's like a smaller PS3, and not the dramatic difference it was like the PS2 -> PS2 slim.
why would I want to use finger gestures to control dashboard when I can do that faster and naturally with the controller? Seems "gimmicky"
Any videos of using the camera in a game?
Sorry buddy, but if you have time to read comments, then your attention to detail or eyesight must really be bad. The answer was under your nose the whole time.
"Sony and Sucker Punch's inFAMOUS has had to deal with a lot of comparisons during its development; be it to Crackdown or Prototype. Thanks to the demo, released Wednesday night to preorder holders, "
don't even have to click the link to read the article.
^ Relatively new account with 7 bubbles already.
Come on, it's not the first time GT's been caught doing this stuff.
And if you remember from the first time they were caught, you'd remember how fast they took down the vid and put up a new one.
What makes you think they wouldn't/didn't do it again?
Agreed. Played the first one and like some comments here, the art style was really nice, but some characters were even more so androgynous than the latest FF toons to the point of disturbing. Heck my initial impression of the game, I thought the main character was female. I also couldn't get into the battle mechanics. It just didn't do it for me. If they change these little quirks then I'll go ahead and get this one, otherwise it's a steer clear for me.
Just got a new car before the state tax increase and my monthly payment for it is roughly $380. Add to it I'm starting a new account with my insurance agency, the price of fuel, and the monthly cost of the parking permit I need to park at work, I'm now suddenly paying about $650-800 a month just for the car. Not too bad. Then add the electricity, gas, mortgage, cable (tv+internet), and the monthly payments become quite up there. Sure, $4 a month doesn't seem too bad but that's also four c...
the new character isn't the Suzaku-lookalike, it's the kid with the pirate hat.
Hmm, I don't know. These newer videos make the game seem more interesting, but I still don't know much about this game or what group of audience they're trying to target. Is it a 3rd person shooter type game with levels or is it open world like GTA? And again, these newer videos appear more interesting, but the super power moves look so repetitive that it may not be my cup of tea.
So you guys are saying the video is an April Fool's joke? Evil thing to do to the fans of the game imo. Sorta like how Blizzard teased people of the Bard hero class... of course that was funny at least.
Lookin pretty good!
I hope they include several big cities in this one. Come to think of it I guess I didn't mind when playing the first one, but reading the above comments, I come to realize it would've been nice to have big cities spread over the galaxy other than Citadel Station. The majority of the planets of the first game could've used some more "life" to them.
