just gonna say... that's what a developer should do when they're making a game from one version to the next instead of rebranding it as new and really giving us version #.5

don't see a tire damage... besides, tires been ripping apart since early 90s on the PC. It's a game called Indycar Racing.

man that brings back memories! can't believe how awesome graphics were back then AND had tire and vehicular damage!

I don't respect Peter Molyneux's opinion on anything because he's never made a game live up to [all] the hype he spouts out of his mouth.

like rroded said, he's more talk than substance.

lol@ the blizz fanbabies disagreeing. Diablo 3 looks great but those videos they have up on the site pale in comparison to the gameplay vid above. Show me a current vid of Diablo 3 that has badass looking gameplay like in the vid above. =P

I was actually wondering why this is titled a physics tech demo.

@dredge
complaining about a no button interface being a handicap? what about an interface such as motion control using your body? is that also a handicap? Why would they even try copying it when the conventional set-up works much better than any gaming that involves using your body as 'the' controller?

see what i did there? ;-p

without halo there would be no gears because you'd need the xbox brand to be where it's at this gen for Epic to have considered developing gears on the 360.

How is this "news" for gamers?

despite the fact the hardware specs may be mediocre on apple products, it is sufficient for the productivity apps in the MacOS environment. The apps just work very well and smoothly despite the limited resources [when compared to higher end offerings on competing products from HP, Sony, and Dell]. I'm not sure of a proper analogy, but I suppose it's like you don't need a high-end Core i7 PC to run Doom. A 486 is good enough.

However, if you are editing 1000s...

Move is a controller that adds a different method of enjoying a game. It supplements the experience. It'd be silly to develop an AAA title that required Move controller to be mandatory as that will turn away potential customers that don't have or want Move.

It's the same with any optional video game controller device out there. And where were you during E3 mcstorm? They announced a good load of games w/ Move support like Joe said, Sorcery being one. There ar...

think tennis players would really love a move tennis game if you actually have to swing and if it incorporates things like turning the wrist to curve the ball, they'll like it more. in fact, little kids will hate the move because they can't rely on flicking really quick to win anymore. A 5 yo beat me in Wii tennis because he could flick his wrist fast. Wonder if he could do the same when he starts getting arthritis.

when you got a cheap system like the Wii and the only worthwhile games to get on it are games that feature mario, zelda, and/or pokemon.... obviously those games will sell more. Look at the other offerings on the Wii. They have piss-poor sales!

You can't call Nintendo a far greater publisher than Sony when all they have always relied on was Mario and when their gameboy and DS systems relied heavily on 6+ iterations of Pokemon to drive sales. Talk about milking a fra...

too bad the move isn't really targeted towards casuals. At least with the move, players can use it for GT5. You only got mario kart on the wii and imo mario kart on snes was much more fun. Wii mario kart is a snore-fess.

i'm curious if he really does have that eye disease. I remember seeing a video here on n4g about kinect and he was interviewed in a fairly lit room WITHOUT his sunglasses! At first I was like "who is this guy?" and then I realized it was kudo without shades. It felt almost like that one article where Itagaki wasn't wearing his shades.

i haven't seen a video gameplay with more than 8 cars on a track, but i HAVE seen a replay video of the rome circuit where I counted more than 14 cars until the camera switched views. Again, that was a replay video and not gameplay or behind-the-car view.
