Honestly it just has to do with time put into games prior. I'm guessing your nephew is a regular gamer? My girlfriend is better at fighting games than me because she grew up playing the old school games against her dad but FPS is basically second nature to me at this point. More than anything though I agree with the top comment, kids are getting dumber and dumber with every passing year -_-
Technically I'm still a teen, yet an adult at the same time (legally, not in spirit (: ), and crash was my first game ever. many kids got a second hand console as their first with classics like Crash and Spyro on them, my little cousins are 12 and 14, I asked them a while back and the response was shocking for millennials.

Scenario 1: I buy AoM extended edition, game never works. Steam says he the publisher is my support, Microsoft says steam is my support. I write steam telling them my situation, they answer back telling me that the publisher is my support (morons...). Game never works, lost my money. Tried everything on both sites, community, every option was exhausted.
Scenario 2: I buy far cry 4 from origin, a non-EA game, it doesn't work and I get my money back.

the thing I find most strange about their support is no returns, if the game doesn't work you got nothing (happened to me with AoM extended edition). Origin even has a 60 day return policy, odd that the distributor widely accepted as the best loses to a console game company who was voted as America's worst company 3 years consecutively.
Funny how they can be so open minded and realistic but publishers who abuse gamers and the fanboys who obsess over their product choices can't. It's good though, its one of the reasons why exclusives on console are so great because of men like Yoshida and Spencer.

Any options > no options. I think it would be great to have a couple presets to choose from. 720p high textures at 60, 1080 high textures at 30, 1080p mid textures at 60 :)

Because the last one had soooooooooooo many issues. downloaded it, played it, had no problems, and for an online beta DRM seems pointless, so much.
The quality of the game wasn't great but the stuff you're complaining about it stupid, just letting you know.
