Exactly, but long term they could be better if they would have waited for DX12 and Windows 10. They could have maybe realized that the hardware of the PS4 was a bit better and upgraded (not trolling, just as of now it's slightly better). If they hit back with a more powerful console, say 1440p capable with DX12, hololens and Windows 10 they would knock it out of the park.
^ just a theory, but if they did I would be waiting for the X1 right now instead of owning a PS4

Because you're supporting practices such as rushing out games, pre-order baiting with exclusive content, you're putting way too much trust into people you've never met before.

Game production costs have gone up while the industry market shares have capped, that's why we're seeing rushed games and DLC.
If the DLC packs have a lot of content I'm in, and possibly 1 or 2 campaign expansions as well, that would be cool. I don't know how they'll support 64v64 matches, that's pretty huge, but I look forward to it :D
I would be open to the remaster on consoles but a PC only crysis would let them kill the VR :)

I was thinking the same thing, that could be a way for them to see that getting behind good games is worth while. Maybe they'll try to find more studios passionate about the franchises they are allowed to use :)
Considering the average seasons pass is 50 dollar's Activision wanted to raise that 40% by adding two separate packs, expansion 1+2 for 35 dollars and 3+4 for a grand total of 70 dollars of thin DLC.

Examples of forced reactions? Lots of people don't follow gaming news and only look at games on the shelf of a store. If they play 360/One/Wii/WiiU maybe they never look at Playstation games.

On topic: Yeah I agree, I think some people take opinions like that too seriously. I've seen people visibly upset that someone they've never met, most likely never will, thought a game they like is trash :P sometimes when they haven't even played it yet themselves.

Green man gaming does DLC pretty cheap, same with games. Other than that I don't think I've ever seen a reasonable drop in price from DLC
