I've noticed it's 10% off on Steam right now, is that a pre-order discount?
how do the 295's stack up against 970's? Wouldnt 970s in SLI be equal or greater for less price? GPU Boss says so but I'm skeptical, not trying to start anything just asking a question as most reviews of the 970 I've seen are saying its the best "bang for buck" card.
Dying Light use Splash!... Nothing happened...
Mainly young, with parents who don't know what M stands for on the case and will buy their kids anything.
Sometimes I wonder why Twinfinite writes anything at ask, then I realize it's for clicks. Always.
No Canada support? :/
I'm hoping they'll put out an upgraded card and let anyone with a 970 exchange it for said card :) or be awesome and give anyone with a 970 a 980, but that's just ridiculous wishful thinking.
They are rather impressive though, I'm looking to get both, but I might go oculus over Morpheus depending on who can pull it off better and get more support. Dying Light would be great for either though
Anyone run this game on GTX 970 and i5-4690k?
I definitely like this guy more than the other Forbes video game journalist, that guys a moron, but this writer usually gets things straight :)
Sorry insomniac, but the skill gap is real, not every game will hold your hand, and it's not a bug.
Lol you must be one of those kids who complained about no autosave in Alien, thinking it was a bug :D
Games like GTA V, TLOU, arguably Tomb Raider and Metro deserve to be remade. Bioshock would made a superb remake, but we all know that's out of the picture now :/ unless a different developer does it.
Also TLOU:R was sort of a trial or warm up for Uncharted 4, which I hope will be great. The Order and bloodborne don't interest me as much, and I'm finding its getting harder to find that 'WOW' effect, but honestly I've never been disappointed with a ND ...
Could not agree more, in terms of graphics and story.
As one of my all time favorite games from my definite favorite developer (grew up on Crash Bandicoot), I didn't regret splitting it with my girlfriend, as she had never played it before. It's now her all time favorite game :) definitely worth it, for the price. This is coming from a season pass owner on PS3 and a Canadian who's used to paying $70 for new games, and after playing this I was so hooked on 60fps I bought a gaming PC.
Milked hard? Hardly. It took an ol...
Jesus, do you not know how AR works? You realize it reads the environment as a 3D area, it would need 2 cameras, like kinect and the PS4 camera, and having cameras of such quality which would make the world around you realistic would double costs easily. There's a difference between the cameras used for scanning environments and those used for protecting environments, the image quality is much different.
So you're saying you already know that Microsoft got AR right? Just like they got kinect right? Until I see it, no one has "got it right", and believe me, oculus has "got it right".
2 front facing cameras actually, or the tech behind hololens wouldn't work. Even then they wouldn't be high enough quality without driving the cost up a lot, it wouldn't really work well at all :P nothing looks more real than our eyes.
Silent Hills*
P.T. Was a playable tease, and will never have VR support.
I'll likely be dead before they release that game, and I'm 18.
it has better points though, the "use it and you get better at it" skill tree, good graphics and a good enough weapon variation to keep things intersting. It also supports all play styles, and full dismemberment is always a plus :)
I think youre not looking at the 'light' side :D
That being said after giving it a go and experiencing the near end game experience through a friend I'm with Solar below, steam sale it is for me.
