The creator of this article is an idiot. It's annoying how little research goes into some of these articles. The writer clearly hasn't a clue about 3D tech if he believes that non 3DTVs can do 3D...
the amount of people who will have agreed to the terms without reading through the changes
mean that the new blu-ray players need to be HDMI 1.4 compatable to allow for dual streaming of 1080p images to allow for 3D.
The firmware for PS3 will somehow allow the PS3 to mimick this while only using HDMI 1.3
you are aware the red and cyan glasses are the old tech right? The 3D tech coming into place this year is completely different, and much better
this of course is Samsung trying to appeal to more audiences. Which makes sense seeing how they've got a business to uphold. However the image won't be true 3D like on the ps3, where the 3D will be stereoscopic and (in theory) run at 120fps. The TV can't recreate this, only at best judge distances and create the corresponding image.
Only time will tell of how well this tech measures against the tech sony will be offering.
a ruffled up bed as a form of 'modern art', then games like Flower and Linger in Shadows are definitely able to be classed as art forms.
though it is true that what is art for one person may not be such for someone else. However Roger is wrong to flat out say she is mistaken.
but my viewing experience was crisp and clear. Maybe the quality of projectors and glasses differ which would be a problem if that's the case with the new TV sets in june as the launch needs to be a good one else this tech will flop
terrible article. Thought he was just an ill informed wannabe journalist until I got to him praising Natal (after slating motion controls previously). He obviously has knowledge about Natal that noone else has experienced seeing how it apparently knows what direction your eyes are pointing at... definately newsworthy seeing how its only come to light recently that they've now managed to get detail of fingers intergrated.

If this idiot actually researched into things he details ...
Though wouldn't mind Motorstorm PR, Wipeout HD and super stardust HD in 3D so not all that bad.
Guess it depends on the price of the TVs when they come out whether I'll buy straight away or wait until the update to make compatible with 3D Blu-ray films.
The commercial from Sony was quite surprising as Sony don't tend to take shots at the competition like that usually, choosing instead to big up their own console (which sometimes is truthful, while other times cringeworthy)
The Author of this article is quite obviously a blind Microsoft fanboy as he is not only clearly in a rage about the advert as opposed to taking it for the humor it possesses but also rants on about inaccurate and untrue facts.
sadly however, such nonsense coul...
you played heavy rain? ;) lol
but yer seriously, milo is not a step in the right direction, true AI is.
are beyond blind. That sort of technology is beyond the capabilities of current gen consoles. Milo was the thing that infuriated me the most about that E3 presentation. Similarly I'm not sold on natal til it can prove it can do what it faked doing with milo and that trailer.
Though rumor is they've improved on what they've shown so far.
The writer clearly hasn't a clue about the 3D technology that's being brought out.
oh wait, it f**king YLOD'd on me last night D:
with justcause 2 lodged in it and a 320GB HDD gone to waste...
I guess I could hop on the bandwagon and complain about this update removing my ps3's otherOS feature that I payed through the nose for, but in all honesty I never used it xD
However it felt necessary to complain about my ps3 dying for the second time!
thought was going to be a fail in it working like natal at E3 last year...
The controller was blatantly off / batteries were dead.
This is not an embarrassment for Sony, this is an embarrassment for whoever posted this article and video.
Sony is usually the one taking jabs from the competition. But Sony went all out with this one, and not even subtly (unless you've been living under a rock)
I'm british, but this made me laugh. I'm getting the move anyway but this is a top advert.
Should be fun to see Microsoft retaliation
for having sense amongst the mass of idiots on the internet
NPD is just america... as in not the whole world
title should read "For the first time in 3 years, Xbox 360 is number 1 in America"
twisting words to get hits on their site...
the article itself shows stupid amounts of ignorance seeing how they don't know what the use of the Playstation eye is in conjuction with Playstation move...
Surely this is old news...
I've been playing the demo on my PlayStation 3 since last week
