Or is this speculation? Has anyone got a link to Valve confirming cross platform online? Would be great to play this game with my PC gaming mate.
Though all I've seen from Valve is that there will be some of Steam's features moved across to the PS3 to allow for updates and DLC.
But I'm assuming the site is taking into account that the navigation controller can be replaced with a Dualshock3 controller? Because of course it'd be terrible journalism to not look into what they're talking about.
So if price really is an issue, then you can just use the dualshock controllers.
Also to the inevitable disagrees who'll moan not everyone has more than one controller, if that's the case your ps3 obviously isn't for the family to play on s...
It's easy to see which is GT5 and which is real life. Some of the textures aren't quite there. Never the less there's no denying the visual spectacle GT5 is, with rendering so good it's easy to confuse it with CGI.
Not to mention some other comparisons that really are difficult to seperate real from fake.
Can't wait for it to finally release
about sucking up to sony...
Either Valve were honest before a deal with sony, or they are honest now they're not developing soley for Microsoft platforms (and apple)
Either way, I hate it when developers and also jouralists trash talk for who ever's paying them.
yes :D the day after I see the forza kinect thing and thought how awesome motion control would be for Heavy rain xD
Should be awesome
Microsoft usually leaps on the chance to stomp on Sony stealing E3 i.e taking exclusives that a dear to the Playstation platform.
With Sony raging on about how their powerful machine is the only console able to pull of 3D you'd think Microsoft would piss on their parade.
Especially as they are going before Sony, as Sony's conference will without a doubt be touting how things like 3D is only possible on the ps3.
(Sort of like Microsoft saying their eyetoy games ...
He only has one bubble because this site is filled with Sonyfanboys.
Oh wait..
this guy only got one bubble...
One huge gripe I had with the Xbox is the fact there's no built in wifi. However, it's not enough to make me want to swap with my older xbox. I'll wait til this one dies xD
Least it now looks more like a console as apposed to a PC ;)
Though I feel that if this was the case, it won't be possible on all cars, seeing how they can't put damage on all car models because the car manufacturers get touchy about their lovely cars getting scratched. On a similar note, I don't believe they'd want to see their lovely cars getting "graffiti'd" onto.
However, it's very likely that you can change the colour of the car and select parts. Maybe even alter the handling (for example the tires).

It's true not everyone who bought a TV recently will invest so soon in another TV, however I bought a HDTV last year but will be buying a 3DTV soon. It is possible to have more than one TV, for me it's just a case of selling the old CRT TVs and placing the 3DTV in the living room and the HDTV in the bedroom.
Went into the Sony shop today where they've just got in their first 3D TV, and there's an Avatar clip playing that looks just amazing.
Why must it be one or the other...
For me, having 3D motion control while viewing such input in stereoscopic 3D is a truely immersive 3D gaming experience.
about violent video games. It's obvious that games don't change kids. It's all about how they are brought up. Such a waste of money for bigotted idiots who know nothing of the gaming industry to try and understand it, and thinking they're doing the rest of the world a favor by pointing out the obvious...
That was years ago before GTA was as globally popular as it is now. Rockstar now would want to appeal to the majority of countries outside of England.
If there was going to be another GTA style sandbox game set in London, it would probably be the Getaway. Shame that it was cancelled seeing how the tech demo was very impressive.
lots of games on the 360 have sold well over 6 million worldwide..
where as on the PS3, it's concidered a good sale if it gets over 2 million. That's fact, and a reason why second party developers are going multiplatform.
more ignorant and immature of a fanboy...
There's obviously no sense in explaining your stupidity.
sure has been reported to be bad mouthing alot of other developer's work... GeoW3 better be a genre defining masterpiece.. He's certainly lost any credibility for me.
As other's have mentioned above; what does he have to say about things like GT5 and Last guardian?
Though I do believe that Naughty Dog are the top console developers at the moment.
Look at the heavy hitters on the PS3, alot of the sales no matter how grand the game, do not match that of the majority of Xbox360 sales. Which is a shame really considering the effort the mass of first party developers go through to create such great games.
Also to the people who are complaining about a lack of advertising, maybe it was only in the UK, but I've seen a mass of adverts for Alan Wake. Mainly the one with real people in it.
Ignoring the fact that the article ignores the Move uses the PlayStation Eye camera and therefore DOES have a mic..
The move has been shown that it can be used in games beyond your typical motion sensing game, such as use in Killzone3, Socom4 and Littlebigplanet. As it is pretty much a Dualshock controller broken up, Almost any game can be mapped to it, as was demoed at GDC.
Kinect hasn't shown how games aimed towards the hardcore market would be possible however. Although...
