Well, Wii Junkii, it just happens that now it will be enhanced and played the way it was meant to be played: Achievements/trophies, Next-gen technology, more enemies on screen/polygons, and online play.

Both were awesome. I don't remember anyone other than myself and my cousin having a genesis, and I only got a genesis because of Sonic. However, SNES got most of my time because I didn't know of any outlets that sold Genesis games (where I lived) nor about magazines that dealt with Sega stuff (we had only Club Nintendo).
So where I was Nintendo dominated and very few people knew about Sega. Sega only formally appeared when the Dreamcast launched... and you all know how well that ...

Yeah, of course they weren't going to re-make the game. Graphical enhancements and a few additions is OK as long as it's cheaper. Hopefully all these Wii ports in the future will make the deals sweater.
They are *still* adding trophies and achievements, right? It would be Grasshopper/Suda 51's loss if they weren't. On 360 they have to anyway.
