Same. Didn't get the error screen either. My screen just went black one day and had these dots scrolling on it. Tried it on various TVs and with different cables and nothing worked.
You pay to get it fixed or did you get it fixed for free? They told me I need to pay 100 bucks but I heard many people say they just lied and said they had RRoD. Guess MS employees don't check cuz they get it sent back to them fixed.
wow really? The media is just now catching onto this problem? My launch 360 bit the dust due to this problem OVER A YEAR AGO. No RROD. I didn't get this E 74 Error BS but it did exactly what it describes. My video crapped out, hardware failure.

Uncharted is one of the most fun games I've played. Period. Any console, any generation of gaming. Simple as that. It is already a classic in my books.

I dunno...I think Sony is starting to get it. In the US I see as many Playstation 3 television ads as I do 360 ads. Sony is putting on a lot of ads for the Playstation Network. I've also been seeing ads about downloading movies on PSN. So they are doing it. You know they commercial where the guy is unpacking the PS3 and downloading movies and stuff with his friends.

Regardless I doubt we will see it on the PS3. Great game but honestly I could careless. Owning it on the 360, you better have people you know to play with. Otherwise within a month of the release the entire community turns into complete jack@sses and the game is not fun anymore.

Agreed. I've never once, in my 23 years of gaming, ever could not get a game on release day. The biggest of the biggest games, never had a problem.

I agree I quite enjoyed the campaign. It had fun action and I enjoyed the characters. The story itself was...bleh. But I bought Gears for the action, not the story, and I came away satisfied. I bought MGS4 for the story and action and came away satisfied.
Just know what you are buying and there is nothing to complain about.
ya...honestly the trophies sound pretty obtainable. Other than the ones I don't understand like get such and such honor in multiplayer.
Socom trophies are just plain tedious and ridiculous. There is no way I'll play enough to get any of the trophies most likely unless I really concentrate on getting a couple of them.
These trophies look about as hard as Uncharted trophies were. A couple difficult ones that may take some time to snag but other than that they are at...

I also miss the 3DO. I dunno why. I have fond memories of Need for Speed, Geko, and Primal Rage (i think) on that system. Oh and Fade to Black I believe was also on it.
how do you even look at people's trophies? I can't even figure out how to see my own other than starting up my PS3. I go to my profile on the PS3 website and can't find em.

EDIT: BTW Death, trophies are suppose to be mandatory I believe now. So every PS3 game here on out is suppose to have them. Correct me if I'm wrong on that tho....
I saw these stats awhile ago. Surprised the Wii is so low since it sells so well. People buy it and don't play it huh? PS2 dominates, no surprise there. One of the best consoles made IMO.
Greenturd is right! There should be a section where you have to enter your PSN name and 360 gamertag to post. If they could somehow verify they are legit.
