wouldn't buy this for the simple fact that they admitted to taking out content from the game to later sell as DLC. So knowing this as a fact, F THEM!

Check Gametrailers "most anticipated games of 2009" list. Gametrailers...xbox 360 lovers. PS3 haters. Yet their list is like 80% PS3 exclusive titles. Killzone 2 wasn't even on the list.
Their reasoning behind that is completely stupid tho. They said there isn't enough known about Killzone 2. Yet they put games like Bioshock 2 and CoD5 on the list. CoD5 has only been announced...nothing more. Yet it got number 2 spot and Killzone doesn't...

I liked the first one a lot. I played the 2nd one's demo and it just felt dated or something. I never picked it up.

pretty stupid list. Counter-Strike rips off Half-Life? What? They acknowledge it is a mod of Half-Life. Which should disqualify it to begin with...but beside that the 2 games have nothing what-so-ever in common.
Did I miss it or did they not even put Saints Row on there? Surely they could of made a much better list than this...like it matters...but if you are gonna do it at least do a good one.

Dunno...at least they didn't give it a bad score. Now let the haters keep calling it a movie while the rest of us know how great the gameplay is in between the cutscenes (which are great themselves anyway).

There was a 45 minute interview with them. In Dutch tho, had subtitles. I watched most of it. Pretty kewl getting an indepth behind the scenes video like that. cheap AI and hard AI are not the same thing
add cheap AI to non-stop respawning...non-stop fun? No.
Uncharted for example is a game with great AI if you ask me. They harder you up the difficulty, the smarter they act. They just don't all the sudden get super bullets that kill you in one hit and hit you immediately when you pop out of cover.

agree CoD5 singleplayer sucked. Respawning enemies (it seems) no thx. I played it on hard tho and it just got old and tiring trying to move up on crappy AI that has pin-point aiming abilities that never stop respawning until you finally move forward.
MP wasn't for me either. I'm a rifle man when it comes to my WW2 games. Yet the rifles (bolt action at least) were so weak. What was the point of using them when the machine guns did just as much damage?

When I go to buy a game, I want a shrink wrapped copy that hasn't been opened. Not an open box handed to me while I wait for the employee to dig out the CD from a drawer and pull it out of a sleeve and put it in the case.

Rented it, played it casually, beat it in 2 days.
Given, there are time trials and things to do afterwards. Which, honestly, are probably more fun than the actual story mode. I'd have to say it was probably the worst ending fight in a game I've ever played. One move and it was over.
