I wanna see Gametrailer's review. Just cuz I wanna see what kinda of BS they come up with to bash the game. But they are lazy as hell. Usually don't get reviews out till a week or more after the game is released.
eh I read review cuz it lets me read about the game I want but can't have yet.

Of course Killzone 2 is a day 1 buy. Being released near 2 other games I want, Street Fighter 4 and Resident Evil 5. HA! Those 2 games can wait...all my gaming is going to Killzone.

uh huh. Don't get the problem with this either. Obviously someone that doesn't like football is complaining about it. I'm not a big fan of football but why would this bother anyone? PSN has football themes you can download as wallpapers and stuff as well.

But that IS a bullshot from Gears 2. I've played thru Gears 2 three times. That screenshot has been edited.
Not trying to downplay how great Gears 2 looks, but it is unfair to compare a bullshot of Gears 2 to a REAL screenshot from Killzone 2.

ya, I'm a little skeptical on how much that will effect the gameplay. But it is pretty kewl how much attention to detail they are putting in. Visually, at least, the wind looks amazing. Like when it gusts up under the little carriers the soldiers ride in on and the way it blows around objects and smoke.
so close...one more month. I'm puttin off buying SF4 and RE5 for this game...that's saying a lot for me!
needs a price drop!!!! Sadly it seems a lot of people are content with having one system (which a lot have a 360) so they don't feel the need to buy the other system, especially if it is so expensive. Having had both since launch, I feel the PS3 is all around a better system. But whatever. The 2009 lineup is the strongest by far out of the 3 consoles.

thats cuz they are all user created maps. Infinity Ward had nothing to do with making them...which means they are most likely crappy...
which is why I'm not understanding all these comments hating on Infinity Ward. They have released all the maps they have made. Why would they release crappy user created maps for the console? No one does this...unless there is already a map making thing for the game. Only Valve comes to mind really. They released a couple user created maps ...
ya it would be kewl. But most user created stuff is awful anyway so no big loss.
I didn't buy Far Cry 2 but were there ever any actual GOOD maps made from the map editor? Slow news day I guess...user created maps put into one pack is not really something to get excited over.

yes...it just simply needs a pricedrop. It would be nice. Then all the hate towards this inanimate object can stop. Plus more people to play with is always good.
I read when the game first came out that they were gonna update the game like every week or 2 with new stuff. I was assuming small stuff like vehicles paint jobs or something. (like LBP maybe?)

Resident Evil Code Veronica and RE Zero were good games. Resident Evil 3 was a little mediocre. 4, while I enjoyed it, pretty much took the franchise in a new direction. The wrong direction in my opinion but oh well. I still had Silent Hill for my spooky, heart-pounding zombie/monster games. (until now...SH5 was terrible).

If a game gets good reviews...I'll consider buying it. Good being 8 and up for me. If it gets lower I'd probably give it a rent. Mirror's Edge, for instance, got mixed reviews. But who cares...really? The gameplay vids are enough to sell the game to anyone with a PS3 and have a brain.
The only people that get joy out of low scores for exclusive titles are fanboys. Which, I'm thinking you might get joy if Killzone fails. Perhaps?
