Sort of. This is fine for a F2P game (expected even) but nonsense for a subscription title. Right now they're trying to combine both to suck as much cash as possible before the inevitable switch to F2P.
The only guess is whether TERA or SWOTOR will go F2P first.
While you're right for the most part I think the major hope is "NEED". The real fear arn't common bugs but anything game/progression breaking and that's what we need to be worried about.
On the plus side, many games have gotten community patches over the years so if worst comes to worst we'll wait on that miracle.
The refusal ending was actually............kinda good.

EVERYONE is dying a lot and losing gold. If they weren't they'd be bitching inferno wasn't hard enough, it's stupid hard but it is hard.
Punishing death is NOT good. The only "draw" the game has after the ending is attempting new challenges but if all my armour breaks trying to do that, well I'm just going to say screw this game and stop playing arn't I? You never want to punish your player base, that's silly. You want to entice.

The thing is D3 is getting 9/10s all over the place while it's still a buggy disappointing mess. It deserves a solid 8. It's not bad, but it IS worse than Diablo 2 as things currently stand and I hate that reviewers are letting it get away with murder.
Considering I prefer bitch smacking enemies with the plasma cutter whilst shouting "YOU..DO..NOT...TALK TO YOUR MOTHER LIKE THAT!" I'm not concerned about ammo. The cover system is INTENSELY disappointing however.
It's DEAD SPACE. Humans should never ever be shooting at you, let alone enough for you to take cover. The only "cover" that would make sense in the series would be to hide from passing deadlies.

Gaaawd people. You'll only use the touch features when a game is logically designed for it, most of the time you'll be using the pads and just considering an extra screen just like how the DS pulled it off. (There are VERY few DS games that required touch)
It's also obviously more powerful than a ps3/x360 because it's newer. We can't compare it to a ps4/x720 simply because those don't exist yet.

Of course it isn't. Who comes up with stupid rumours like this? The cheapest PC CPUs manufactured today clock higher and have more sophisticated architecture than current gen consoles. It's not flaming on my part, it's THE PASSAGE OF TIME.
A newer console is obviously going to have a better cpu and gpu.
I'm surprised there isn't more backlash about the DRM in reviews. It's very obtrusive, forces updates, checks in the background and still uses the horrid social club that made me actually REGRET buying GTAIV on pc.

I personally believe it deserves either 7 or 8 out of 10. It's a worse game than D2, it's hardly an RPG, buggier than a bethseda release and dumbed down to the max.
BUT. It's fun. Fun matters. So it's not a bad game, just far from what I hoped for.

Lol. OF course it's a single player experience. NOTHING. NOTHING about the game is like an mmo. It's a story driven game, intro, cutscenes, you being mentioned as a individual in all of them...you know.....single player stuff. The game CAN be a co-op experience but you're sniffing some serious glue here pal if you think it isn't a solo experience at it's foundation.
There isn't an online game around where you can solo the final boss on the hardest mode...
Don't upgrade to 8. It's built for tablets and will undoubtedly deliver a sub-par desktop experience (I've used every MS OS since DOS and as much as I support them, W8 is the worst mistake yet). Move to W7 64-bit. You'll get compatibility, reliability and experience actually tailored for a pc.
This is definitely the reason for most of the size in modern games. Even without compression we'll quickly see several "rip" versions (containing only english) that come in at roughly half the original size
Genetically it's completely plausible. Humans have the correct biological layout to construct tools, make use of them and have deeply profound systems of communication. It would make sense that species of similar bipedal builds and tool/communication focus to also advance to space travel.
This is why we aren't ruled by snakes and goldfish on earth.
