Capcom has really become too greedy. I mean, SF is probably one of their most valuable franchises. To let the long-awaited sequel be outsourced is just sad. I didn't mind SF2HD as I find that one as kinda like a spin-off but SFIV is a true sequel and should be developed solely by Capcom.
Hopefully Resident Evil 5 won't follow this trend.
Wow so PS3 has almost double the attach rate? And UK is like the only country in Europe that has a strong support for X360.
Consider this. With a console they'll reach a larger audience (unless you make a flash game or wutnot) and they don't need to worry about the different level of graphics. They can focus solely on optimizing it for that platform. PS3 supports mouse and keyboard too so advantages for having it on PC is diminishing.
I think if one MMO does well on a console, all the companies will follow as I can't see any reason why they would keep putting it on PC.
You can't really compare Halo 3 and GTA IV. GTA IV is an open-world and because of all the gameplay and the big world it gotta lack in something, so in this case it's graphics. While Halo 3 focus solely on First Person Shooting and maybe some driving with the vehicles.
Another thing to consider is that Halo 3 was suppose to be the biggest title for X360, a title to show off their hardware. It's MS' most valueable franchise too so people had high expectations.
@1...
I don't think they have a duty to follow the ratings though. I read somewhere that the ESRB ratings are optional and are nothing more than a recommendation.
lol there is one guy on a forum stating that it's 630p or wutnot. And suddenly that becomes a fact? Cmon folkz. Did you suddenly just forget all the reviews stating GTA IV looks better on PS3?
But even so. Regardless of what resolution it is, in the end the PS3 version is the better looking one.
WoW sucks anyway, all you do all day is grinding.
"but the rest looks surprisingly decent at this stage."
lol, "surprisingly decent" doesn't sound that promising.
lmao I trust Quarterman (1up) over Surfer Girl any day.
Quarterman has gotten it right countless times.
Hopefully Michael Bay will crush him.
Oh and also a sidenote. The last five boxing matches Boll did with the critics was a trap. He told them it was only PR stuff and then suddenly in the ring he was swinging the best he could.
Just be glad that they allow the games to be region free. No other home console has done this.
wow 60 frames per second. Seems like Midway is pulling themselves up.
You know it's called "beta" for a reason. You shouldn't expect more than a testing ground. This sort of stuff happens quite often on "launch" dates. Somehow no one can estimate the demand. Xbox Live had problems Christmas 2007. That's 2 years after launch. Warhawk had ranking problems and a bug stating the server was full when it wasn't.
Whats good about this is that because they can fix it now, this will most likely not happen on June 12th when the game la...
loooool u like the splitscreen? You couldn't even see the characters when they were in vehicles. You can barely see the weapons.
If that's the end product I can live without. They should've split it vertically.
because 1-10 system sucks. almost all sites that uses 1-10 uses only the numbers 7-10. which is just stupid.
I don't think I've read any articles about Nintendo though.
I hate to be the party pooper but that's who I am. It might very well be that the menu runs at 1080p and the game doesn't. I do hope that it's true though.
lol this is so lame. A gamecube game that can be played on the wii is getting ported to the wii. I mean cmon, just re-produce the gamecube version and stamp the Wii logo on and you got it.
Such a waste of resources.
I don't why you guys are hatin. I think it looks good if it's true.
Not fact, opinion (you even said "imo" lol).
FFXI is doing really well if you compare it to other non-WoW MMO's like Guild Wars or LOTRO (WoW is really in it's own league). And FFXI exists on both PS2 and X360. And you must remember that FFXI required hard drive for PS2. A great obstacle as it raises the price significantly. I think MMOs can really take off on consoles if someone dares to take the step.
