It's quite possible for GTA IV to do better than Halo 3 in the US. For one the X360 install base has grown, second it comes to the PS3 as well. So basically the potential customers is 2-3 times what Halo 3 had. And I'm guessing it will move some consoles as well.
Oh and a last thing. In the past GTA has always sold better than the Halo franchise.
these guys are like the king of the ds. Dementium ran at 60fps. Which is an amazing feat for the hardware.
So according to VGChartz, during the first 3 weeks in the USA DMC4 sold
1) 195,872
2) 85,424
3) 62,364
Which I'm roughly gonna estimate at 340k. The NPD numbers (which is pretty much the official numbers) for February, DMC4 sold around 230k. In other words, the numbers are way off.
so not much
nothing people should complain about then
Can someone explain to me the difference between FULL certification and what the PS3 has now?
When PS3 is on top.
Which means soonish. At most the end of the year
although I think this kinda sux (episodic content not coming to PS3). I don't think it will affect me in any way.
I'm thinking the Episodic content might be like Vice City Stories or Liberty City Stories. Which is basically just more missions. Which is cool but I never bought those, so in that sense it doesn't affect me.
lol the PSP version got a good score. It was also developed by High Impact Games.
This was just a bad port. It wasn't a bad game. Probably rushed.
See what happens when shareholders involve themselves into these companies.
They break them. They got no love for games, only money. If they had love for both I wouldn't mind.
lol, HD DVD was a much better option than this new HD VMD or wutnot. For one it had a lot of studio support, it had a standard, it was region-free and the cost looks to be the same at least for the consumer and they still lost to BD.
There's no way this HD VMD can even gain any momentum. This article is probably as much as it will get.
Although Wii initially gained a lot of third party support as proven by announcements by Square Enix, Capcom and various other big companies. It's also quite evident that their sales number is not good enough.
The most logical business choice for third parties would be to go with X360 or PS3. Though I do hear that it's a lot cheaper to build games for the Wii so I dont know. But I really don't think the Wii software sales do justice to their games so far.
I actually hear this is pretty good. And also heard the developers (although not popular) has a good history with MMO's.
I agree with both of you. I certainly wish most gamers have the attitude of the girls. You know, play just to have fun.
Hey Italian Job was pretty good.
And regarding game based movies. That Hitman film which was recently released was pretty good. Better than the average movie nowadayz anyway.
Did Solidus ever die? I don't really remember.
so basically what sony did when 80gb PS3 was introduced.
ops nvm.
u geeks
Although region-locking is pretty stupid. It's normal. Most of X360 titles are region locked. This shouldn't be news at all.
On the other hand, if GTA IV would've been region-free on X360. Now that would've been news.
The story didn't sound real. This sounds like the "Crysis on PS3, here's a pic" rumor.
