I wished Yoji Shinkawa would be in SF. That would be the whole shibang right there.
lmao GameSpot acting like they care. That is quite funny. I guess Konami didn't give them a paycheck. Go Konami!
It's almost a given that GameSpot's review will be biased now. No doubt.
"Still I have to ask, why? What does a mandatory install, or cut scene length have to do with a games review?"
There could be other limitations you know. I don't know. I think it's quite stupid to assume something when you don't really know the whole story. You know there could be other limitations that even could be positive (like they can't talk about solid eye or wutnot, just an example not saying thats what it is ofc)
Also I dont really agree with ...
I'll buy it when it's cheap. I kinda liked Pokemon Snap (don't care how sad that is). And this game looks very relaxing. Not to mention that the graphics are awsome.
So yeah whenever it's 20$ I'll check it.
I was wondering about that too.
And man, Yoji Shinkawa was there too!!! Wish I could shake his hand. His drawings are just amazing.
Wasn't this game suppose to come out in like 2007?
The japanese just have good taste. Thats all
Itagaki is just afraid of his protege. The fact that the protege could pull of 720p and 60fps and he did not is proof.
Itagaki could pull off 585p at best. With a questionable frame rate issue (we'll see soon enough if it's only in the review copy as they claim)
It can be upscaled to run at 1080p but it's native resolution is 720p. Which is confirmed from that very same forum thats in this article.
I think Hideki Kamiya wins easily. He's so creative. I think only Miyamoto stands a chance against him in terms of vision and creativity.
UK has weird taste.
Valve and Blizzard are probably the only ones who can save the PC game industry.
It does kinda seem natural. Why is Dual Shock 3's rumble not compatible with all games? Because developers didn't include it in the first place.
Thus I think a lot of features probably won't work with several games. Friends invite and stuff like that. I don't see how that might work unless it's integrated by the developers. Custom-soundtrack is a feature that could work but I bet it would take up a lot of memory.
I think what they really meant, was that the new features will be attractive to even the customers who has played it.
There probably are a lot of games that are worst. But these games listed has some type of hype behind them. Thus when they didn't meet the expectations they became the most "dissappointing" exclusive games.
I do think Blue Dragon should be up there somewhere though. Blue Dragon was touted as the exclusive RPG made by famous FF creator Sakaguchi, with character designs by DBZ creator Toriyama and music by the music composer behind most FF's Uematsu. It was also the big...
yea the game was definitately fun.
I really liked the first stage (the one in the demo). The last wasn't so bad either. Or actually the one in the mansion was pretty cool too. But I was a bit disappointed that a lot of times they would just let you in a room and spawn a bunch of guys to kill. Maybe now that they sold pretty well (at one point I heard one million excluding PS3 numbers as it was delayed) they may be able to put in more resources
This was a review done by Nick Suttner. So your statement becomes invalid until you'll see the EGM reviews (assuming Milke and Ryan will be reviewing).
Actually if you compare the Stranglehold score, it used to be 75% (check GameRankings if you don't trust me). Looking at 1up site you'll see it's a solid B. In other words. B- is lower than 75%, presumeably a 70%.
"According to Funcom, Age of Conan is one of the fastest selling PC games of all time. Over 400,000 gamers entered the game world over the last few days, with half of those coming from North America."
Those numbers are good but that's not really anywhere close to WoW: TBC numbers. TBC sold a few millions (2-3 i think) in the first 24 hours.
I don't think Sony has ever gone in ONE direction. Playstation games have ranged from everything to anything. I think thats one of the great features of the Playstation consoles. You've never "locked" into a specific cathegory. Whether it's casual, hardcore or whatever. It seems they usually got them all. Specifically of PS1 and PS2. Both PS3 and PSP is starting to take off though.
