A- actually which is still a great score.
It's quite possible the first review was done with an unfinished version of the game, then they got the finished product and it was all good. Anyway, I'm sure IGN will release a statement pretty soon.
This might go slower but I usually have stuff downloading in the background plus one demo downloading the normal way.
And yet you talked about how Rock Band had drums before GHWT. Just keep denying it man, it's all good. No one cares anyway.
yea it wasn't actually sooner than what I thought. I figured a game probably takes about 2 years now considering everyone got a grips of the development. Gears 2 and Resistance 2 were both developed in 2 years.
"But I trust IGN more because I can't expect a fourth iteration of the same type of game to be a good score. It's becoming a sports game series where there's a new game every year."
"Fourth iteration" which means you're referring to GH right? By referring ONLY to GH and only complain about the GH's score, I can only assume that you only have a problem with GHWT. Rock Band 2 even got a higher score at IGN and I hear absolute no complains. I think we both know...
Uhh have you payed attention lately? Rock Band 2 has almost NO new features. It's techincally the same game and also Rock Band 1 came out laste year (thus Rock Band is coming out yearly as well). Sure GH came out with Aerosmith bs, but RB is coming out with AC/DC Trackpack available exclusively at Walmart for 40$... 40$ for a track pack. So yeah no one is better then the other.
But if you take a closer look, at least Guitar Hero gives you an interesting music creation tool. I m...
I thought it looked pretty good. NOT game of the year or anything but looks entertaining.
I think everyone can agree that GTA IV was a worse game than San Andreas in depth at the very least. But my biggest disappointments was the missions and the story.
Everyone said how Niko was this likeable guy but I didn't really think much of him by that I mean I didn't like him or dislike him. I just didn't think too much about it. And the story was pretty predictable. The choices you were able to do usually only gave incentive to do it one way (ex Dwayne or Playboy, Playboy ...

Couldn't agree more.
Also, they probably forgot to mention that over the last decade, Sony has bought up a bunch of studios (the most recent being Evolution Studios who makes Motorstorm). In fact of the big three, I bet Sony has most development studios. Sony has just invested way too much in the gaming industry and it would plain stupid to give it all up. Not to mention that they are actually gaining back their market share.
I do however think that t...
lol this is just sad.
"It's not that PES is bad, it's just that it's so consistently great that it's a bit predictable, and predictable is…well…a bit dull. Because PES has always been nearly perfect there isn't much to improve upon."
I totally agree with that and thats why reviewers usually give PES a good score (around 8/10) and not a great score (9/10 and up). While a crappy game like Fifa keeps getting 9s and crap because it went from crap to good. I find it really sad that reviewers ar...
It's great to see PES back in a stable version. I'm actually surprised PES outsold Fifa though. I always thought PES were the better game but that everyone bought Fifa.
@Sonarus
You know at some degree I can agree that Indigo Prophecy is more of an interactive movie than a game. But who's to define what a game is and what's not anyway? And who's to say that it's any less enjoyable if it's not a game. In fact I can honestly say Indigo Prophecy is one of the best gaming experiences I've ever had. It's up there on my top 10 list or maybe even top 5.
Also your statement "But all things aside Alan Wake is 100% game and will prob...
Microsoft is just trying to keep an edge. We know multiplatform games are pretty much identical on each platform at this point. Next year, PS3 might have a technological edge. Microsoft needs something to keep people to buy games on their platform.
The reason for Sony not to do this is simple. Paying an amount close to 50 million for DLC or build a whole new game? Or even push that money on the more popular studios to make sure they still are one of the best, like Santa Monica ...
It's not like a delay at this point would be surprising anyway. We still haven't been given an official date.
lol this site must be loosing traffic if they desperately put out articles like this. I mean cmon, it's only one more day before we'll find out ourselves and it's not like the content are newsworthy. Had it been a Resistance 2 demo then sure, that would be cool to know, but thats not the case here.
Yeah I actually like the second one better. This time it actually feels like the wheels is making contact with the ground, the first one kinda felt a bit more like you were skiing.
Virtua Fighter 5 was a sick launch game.
You guys fail to see that this is a non-japanese game and a new IP. 30 000 is a nice number for FIRST day. GTA is probably the most successful western game in japan and it sells around 400k-500k. For LBP to be a new IP and a "foreign" game, 30 000 on first day is not bad at all.
