Wow KZ2 has improved more than Gears did from Gears 1 to Gears 2. And KZ2 looked already better than Gears at E3 07.
wow they were quick to take their just-released games thunder. I mean they didn't even give CoD: WaW a chance, I mean they're technically trying to get people excited about CoD: MW2. While CoD: WaW was announced like 5-6 months before it was released (around summer time)
IdleLee (who is my brother btw) is just confusing himself over the speed of Xbox Live. While it did indeed take him 40 min to download PS3 firmware (30 min for me). The xbox firmware took 20 min to download which is still faster but it's not 7 min fast. I remember because he came into my room and told me it took 20 minutes to download and install the firmware and then later on he came in and told me it took him 7 minutes to install Gears Of War 2 to the hard drive. He told me this in Norwegia...
I love it, I just don't love off-road racing in general so I can't justify the 60$ price tag. Anyway 1up also loves it. Gave it an A- and A and B+ I think.
Surprised me to see Adam Sessler recommending Resistance 2. And I was even more surprised that almost no one recommended Gears 2. Left 4 Dead looks to be the hot pick this year though.
360 got something as well... but only for a limited time (so I'm guessing the first batch). Don't recall what it was though but there is an article out there somewhere.
Calling All Cars is like a Mario Kart for PS3 but with a 10$ price tag. I mean it's by no means anything like Mario Kart but it CAN serve the same experience. Get yourself 3 more people and play the game, it's a lot of fun. It's just a bit shame that there weren't more modes included.
That first kid should never have been allowed to play Gears 2 in the first place.
Anyway, I don't PS3 games are underrated. I do think Halo 3 was wayyy overrated though. I mean at heart it's a good FPS but NOT in any way outstanding. It should've been somewhere between 80-87%. If you think I'm wrong, PLEASE tell me why. I've asked it many times before and no one seem to be able to answer me why Halo 3 got such high scores.

agree as well. I went bowling once, played dart once (or I actually stopped in the middle of it), played pool once (which was somewhat fun), never tried taxi since I didn't like the driving mechanics and did do a lot of dating/friendship thing, since you would get some cool features like that one girl would heal you and that guy would send a car with gang members but it felt more like work as I forced myself to do it rather than doing it for fun.

You gotta try Indigo Prophecy to really understand, it can't be explained all that well. It's kinda like an interactive enviroment with lots of choices (and the choices matter) and action sequences (like QTE).
I mean just to give you an example which isn't particularly from the game but it's a indigo prophecy'ish gameplay. Okay so you're in your apartment. The police are after you because you killed someone because you got drunk and angry last night. Waking up you got this hug...

People should get their facts straight before stating their speculations as one.
As I was greatly anticipating the first AC. I was also greatly disappointed. There were some stuff that it did really well (mainly the atmosphere and free running) but everything else it kinda failed. I mean you had THREE HUGE CITIES and you could do absolutely NOTHING in each one. I mean you could randomly kill people on the street. Maybe once or twice you would run into people to protect but that was it.
They could've at least tried to add in something else, like the ability ...

Let's face it. A game like LBP is hard to sell. If you just watch the trailers you won't get as excited. However once you get to play it, thats when you truly understand how fun this game is. In other words, a game like this need to spread by people rather than advertising. So give it some time. It'll blow up like Guitar Hero.

Which is totally fine but at least give some other incentive than just an article speculating about some crap most people don't care about. Give us an interview or something. Jaffe didn't deserve the money. The team did. Let's face it, Jaffe might not have been that influential. I mean the God Of War team made a GREAT sequel, in fact they made everything I wanted God Of War 1 to be and even better. What has Jaffe done lately? Made Calling All Cars which was alright, made Twisted Metal Head-on, also just alright.

WoW alone has 10 million active subscribers and that means the unit sold is probably twice that. If you really want to see "units" sold rather than "active users".
