I would say Horizon is the best racer of the year, based off the demo (amazing). NFS looks very, very nice, but I don't like the more 'arcadey' racers. I need a bit of feedback.

Sadly, early builds that look like a PS2 game don't magically turn into a PS3 game by the end of the dev cycle.

Even though I think EA is worse than Activision as a whole, at least they make good games (albeit, with day 1 dlc and online passes).
This looks worse than an old Source engine game. While graphics is not everything, if you make a game in this day and it looks like an early gen game, you can tell it is a cheap cash-in.

I live in Australia, and there was a brief period (maybe 5-10 minutes) where I could not access my US account, well, at least not all of the features.

Agreed. An opinion can still be stupid, but while I myself don't care for Mass Effect, I respect that some people think of it as an RPG.
I think that each game should be 'entered' into one category, or maybe 2. Some games state that they are 'action/adventure/horror FPS racing simulator+ RPG over 9000!", and it gets really confusing.
Or 1/20th, for those decimal inclined people ;)

Now I know why I got all the disagrees. When I said "multi-plats included", I was talking about exclusives = better than multi-plats in terms of technical aspects.
I didn't want to turn it into PS3 VS 360, so when I said that ps3 exclusives outshone the competition, I also wanted to draw attention to the multi-plat competition. Multi-plats have generally been better on 360, I can admit that.

That is where I fully agree with you. PC has never been really social for gaming. I watch my brother play with people in Wow raids and stuff, so there definitely is a social aspect, but not every PC gamer wants to skype or team chat.
Much prefer the consoles, as you just put the headset in and let all the kids yell at you. Simple.

Agreed. The Cell has made their exclusives shine above the competition (multi-plats included), but has come at a price. Many developers would prefer to develop on an easier machine, the 360. It resulted in many sub-par multi-plats, at the expense of extremely polished exclusives.
I'd would prefer for them to get rid of it, as it only helps Sony's first party studios, as they get access to more info and in-house engines. Not very 3rd party friendly.

Gears 3 does not feel out-dated yet, I was playing it like 2 hours ago. I'm still trying to get Seriously 3.0, and I would have liked more time to get it before the new Gears.
That being said, my fears that it would be crap have gone. After seeing a few videos (campaign, MP FFA, Overrun), I can safely say that this game will be very fun, and great for any Gears fan.

The original score for Blops 2 was an 8.5. In the follow uo magazine, it was reviewed by someone else (the editor himself) and gave it a 9.25. In this article, it shows Blops 2 with an 8.5 (original score), it will probably be the Wii U review (which is equal to or better than the 360 version).
The Blops Declassified review is a bit late, is what I was pointing out. What I typed makes perfect sense to me at least.

Also, take into consideration that Sony has no killer FPS online on the PS3. Xbox has Halo 4 and Halo Reach taking huge numbers. Fact.
