You know, I also felt like it was a FF game of old, which is good. One of the best 360 exclusives. I have 2 copies of it because one disc out of 4 wasn't working lol. Also have the juicy game guide.
As someone mentioned above, the story was wrapped up nicely. I really wanted a sequel, but maybe it doesn't need one? Maybe tell a different story in Lost Odyssey. A prequel would be a cool idea, as the 'dream' sequences told so many beautiful stories tnat would b...
No sauce = weak source
Well, I'd like to see more fluid combat, at 60FPS on next-gen hardware. Darksiders 2 was awesome, but the open world takes its toll, which separates it from DmC, GoW, bayonetta etc. Next-gen would be most ideal. Quite frankly, to keep the open world while offering insane combat options at a fluid 60FPS, it would NEED to be next-gen.
Love the Darksiders series, but I can definitely admit it needs some fine tuning.
Haha lol. Funny thing is one of the best games I played made me fight a bulldozer. Too bad this game won't be purchased by me though.
Haha very true. Althoug hopefully none of the fanboys become politicians as they will try and ban a specific console lol :-)
Wow that's a weird (and interesting) story.. He leaves Ubisoft, reason being people basically getting in the way of him and the creative process of the Assassin's Creed series, the story direction etc., and now through some 'sick, twisted turn of events' he lands back there.
He quite Ubisoft in 2010 and joins THQ Montreal. Ubisoft bought THQ Montreal the other day (for those who didn't know) and so as an employee, he gets sucked back into Ubisoft.

From my understanding, Koch Media bought mot just the rights to Metro but 4A games as well? So no-one lost their job? Hopefully Koch let 4A games experiment with their engine freely, and help fund improvements when the time comes. Instead of leaving it as is.
Can't wait for the game though. This time their are even more cool survival elements. Wiping blood off of your visor is just one added thing.
Good question. Not necessarily, but the higher computing power can breathe new life into games with gorgeous graphics. I'm talking about more effects that breed immersion and feed into a beautiful atmosphere.
Also, game-play, believe it or not can open up with added power, creating new possibilities not capable on current-gen consoles.
Depends on how developers use it at the end of the day. But yes, it is extremely possible.
The first time I played it I was amazed at the graphics and high level of enemies. I liked returning to level up my weapons and dragon. It got a tad bit repetitive though towards the end. Would love to see a Drakengard 3. I felt that the controls for the dragon were also pretty good.
@Skate
Did you use a rubber band for the platinum? (Darksiders fans KNOW what I'm talking about. And yes... I did).
Damn, can't wait for the full run-down of this game. I am mostly looking forward to the comparisons between GOW 3 technically speaking. Mainly, I want to see the lighting and animations between the two.
Yes, but you'd be lucky to find a MP game for the Wii U. That is a big selling point when a game releases on the PS3, 360 and Wii U. At least the population will be strong on the two 'main' consoles.
I do agree that tne Wii U version is the best version to get IMO, as I'd love the motion tracker on the pad. I'll wait and see anyway. As much of a fan as I am of Aliens, I cannot justify this over some of the other games coming out, especially since none of ...
Yes but if he was too talkative it would have ruined the game. Like it or not, it is building up slowly, there is no way around it.
Same, I still play Gears 3 online and it is very good. I'm still debating whether to get this day 1 or not. There are quite a few other games I'm currently interested in.
Maybe this game was too soon? Crappy pre-orders and tired fans suggest so. It will still be a blast, and I'd like to play the new campaign, as it looks more Gears 1 style. Plus the declassified things look fun. I'll have to sleep on it for the meantime.
Harry, I think it should be illegal. You should have to register for these things with a name (a REAL one), an address etc.
It is absolutely disgusting, and I pity those who
Pay those thieves exorbitant amounts of money, as it only promotes this filthy business. I know, we live in a capitalist society, but this is just morally wrong.
We need some sort of limited edition (in this case uber limited edition) registry. Not the metal tin 'limited'...
shaun, very smart idea.
This new dashboard is already making Xbox's much slower to load, and I don't think any more ads are going to make it quicker. I'm sick of this crap tbh. I wouldn't mind as much if the dashboard wasn't so slow compared to older ones.
Plus, I can't immediately think of any paid service where you have to look at annoying ads. I know a lot of them are to do with games and promotions, but some are stupid. I don't...
dazzrazz
Remember, you don't owe MS anything. We as consumers have the right to ask for more. You can't deny that you would prefer more exclusives. I know some people are saying they don't 'need' any, in defence to what some fanboys say to them, but the truth is exclusives do matter, and they are mostly always excellent.
I used to think "blah blah, who cares", but the truth is I am disappointed. Next-gen there is no excuse. Both ...
It wouldn't have GoW graphics, no way. Darksiders 1 and 2 are open world. Besides, unless Sony buy Darksiders it aint gonna happen. It would be cool to see though, as I'm sure the graphics would improve ten-fold, and maybe go for a grittier, more realistic look, or at least perfect the artstyle they were trying to pull off.
Same. I can't believe they have not fixed the issue. I downloaded the demo ages ago, but no matter what you do you can't get it to run at 60hz. Well, even if the TV is running at 60hz the Xbox says PAL 50.
Apparently the newer dashboard (can't remember which one) removed the option to manually select PAL 50 or 60. Microsoft themselves tell you to pick that option, but the dumbasses don't realise it isn't there anymore. Epic fail, monkey retards.
