I think they really want to nail the graphics down first. I never though visuals could'look that nice on the Vita. With 32 players, they would have to scale back the graphics even more. If it is 8v8 though, I'm sure everyone would be happy. If the maps are well designed, then 4v4 should be quite fine.
Need to have drop in-drop out MP though,'so the games aren't too unbalanced (the first Gears of War worked wonderfully with 4v4, but if someone left during a ran...

Your missing the point. What you are saying is it is unfair that people get to breeze through the SP campaign, which DOES NOT effect you, but unlocking weapins in BF3 MP (which DOES effect you) is okay? Must be opposite day, as I'm not even drunk yet.
EDIT: spelling. Trenso, I suggest reading over your comment btw, maybe you will see the blatant hypocrisy and/or broken logic.
Higher player count is good, but not necessary. 4v4 on a small map feels the same as 8v8 on a big map etc. With less players, there will also be less latency between everyone. I think it will work out fine, although I would have preferred 6v6.
I can understand that everyone is pissed off, but what about Battlefield? Those games let you purchase all MP unlocks (for a hefty price I might add) but people never mention that.
I have certain ideals and values, and one of them is to not be a hypocrite. Maybe other should give it a go. But, you can make an exception for other games like Battlefield right?
FYI to all the whiners, I don't buy Battlefield OR this (I'll borrow it from a friend). That w...
Where were you, when they built the ladder to Heaven??
Woo TRROOHHH-PPHHEEEEEZZEE! Can't wait.
This game reeks of so much fail I can smell it through my computer.
Crow, you might also want to report the one from last week that said 'coming to PS3'. There was no mention of PC or 360 in the heading.
Point being, harden the f*** up, who cares. It will be available'to'black people, white people, men and women etc /s
I know. Most excited about the porcupine homing rockets and the new mantis drone. I was so suprised, did not think these graphics were capable on the Vita. The graphics are at least on par with Resistance 1 or 2 (I'd say Res2), which is amazing considering they are on a full console.
I wonder how much better a sequel could look on the Vita in a couple of years. Looks good enough (not just graphically) to be on a home console.
This review seems unfair. The PAL 60 thing could easily be fixed if it weren't for MS taking away the option. They removed it (while using HDMI). Still, I won't be buying it for the 360, as it was and is a huge pain in the ass. I though reviews were supposed'to be about the game, not outside factors?? Seems pretty unprofessional tbh.
I saw it today. Made by the same people who did Castle Crashers yeah? Itlooks pretty similar (art-style). I'll probably pass, as I though Castle Crashers was a waaaaay overrated piece of garbage IMHO. One of the wors download titles I have played. Felt more like a cheap internet flash game to me.
@juandren and Karpetburnz
Wow. I know damn well tne 360 has a higher failure rate. I'm just pointingmout the fact that people always only consider the factors that favour their possibly fanboy opinion.
I own every console, but to think the RROD helped sales 'immensely' is naive. It would'not have failed so badly in Japan as well, as they have strict quality standards.
Again, I'm not picking sides, but clearly you two and ...
Meh. The inflated RROD sales thing got old years ago. Why not factor in the amount of peoole who got an RROD and bought a PS3 because of it? Or those that were just plain turned off the 360 altogether because of the RROD. Or the fact that most of them were repaired for free, so no further purchase was needed. Also, lets factor in PS3 YLOD and Blu-ray reading errors.
My point being, both sold what they sold because they earned it. You can't pick and choose who benefitted m...
CoD 4, Bioshock, Halo 3, Skyrim had some pretty cool stuff that didn't make the game. Don't really care for ME2, but it had enough milky milk dlc as it is.
I think more developers should release single player dlc. No crappy challenge modes either, but something to expand the story. Sick and tired of lame, overpriced map packs. They are useless once the servers shut down anyway.
I think they should sit back and plan a next-gen R&C for the PS4. Despite what others may believe, the series does NOT need a break. It just needs to find its old magic back IMO. The spin-off titles have been mostly mediocore, but not terrible.
Give them a break, and work on a core title, 60FPS next-gen (TOD was 60 wasn't it?)
No-one does weapons like insomniac.Love levelling up weapons and 'transforming' them.
I agree that this game wasn't exactly needed and/or wanted, but your comment was so full of fail that I am ashamed to be the same species as you.
You know, the best pre-order incentive a game could have is SHOWING US SOME HALF DECENT GAME-PLAY!!
Big fan of the show, and the Telltale game. Not much of a fan of Activision and here is just another behemoth example why. I looked up 'fail' in the dictionary the other day, and this game wasn't mentioned as an example. Needless to say I took the dictionary back to the shops. Will be phoning Oxford to notify them oftneir mistake.
Same. Unfortunately I was in the majority when it came to the games 'humour', which meant I thought it was lame and tragic. It is nothing to do with being offended (I have said and seen waaaay nastier sh**), it just felt way to cheesy and the main character looked constipate.
I hope they do make a sequel, as no-one can deny it was a gorgeous looking game (at least on 360....sunshafts...), and the game-play was amazing. Some of the set pieces were awesome also.
...
EA? I'll pass.
Why is it so popular in Japan? Because it's awesome.
Why is is not so popular everywhere else? Don't know.
Monter hunter is crazy. I think they never had huge marketing over here, that would be one reason. It definitely has the quality though. Nothing like taking down a gigantic boss for 20 minutes with a few other people.
