I am a huge Bioware fan. I've bought all their games day one ('cept Dragon Age).
SW:The Old Repub. is being developed by Bioware Austin--a different team from the Bioware we know and love in Edmonton.
I love WoW. My point was he doesn't understand why WoW's fun, and is pushing Bioware (which is really a different team than the Bioware we know) to crap out a WoW-clone with a well-known license.
EA hasn't had much success copying. They should let their developers do what they want (see: Visceral).

Maybe that's why early reports of the Star Wars MMO make it sound like a WoW-clone minus the fun.
At this point, the Star Wars franchise has been beaten into the ground. Nothing short of a gitty, Killzone-esque Battlefront 3 will save it.

Blu-ray and XBL account for (approx.) $160 worth of goods. That's over half of the PS3's price right there. If you were take out just those two features, a PS3 would be worth $140--a lot less than a 360.
Point: The PS3's a steal.
Since High Moon's doing it, I've got faith. They can't look like a one-trick pony with the Transformers franchise.

I don't see a problem with it. Most 'multi-gamers' can afford to buy two systems at $300 a pop. Not to mention it's technically $240 when you consider XBox Live sub. fees.
Only high school kids who can't afford both consoles have an issue with price--then they turn into fanboys because they need to justify owning only one system.

Killzone 3 *only* sold 3 million? Most big FPS' are multiplat, so they sell tons. A PS3 exclusive that came out 2-years ago--before the slim-sales boom--sold 3 million? That's pretty damn good, and more sales than lots of developers get.
And to suggest KZ3 has turned away a lot of fans is BS. You have stats that back it up? People always say "X feature turned away the fans" but really they're just QQing because they suck at the game.

Careful man, *you* might make yourself look ill-informed.
PS+ has it's benefits, including access to demo's before anyone else. You're a PC gamer, that doesn't sound familiar? You know, like FilePlanet's all access pass? Or Steams 'early demos' for pre-orders?
If you're gonna QQ because you can't play Killzone early, then stick with your PC gaming.
While I'm a big fan of PS Plus and all it's features, everyone needs to try to single-player demo ASAP. It's epic.
Looks good, but WIRED?! MS is still preventing companies from making wireless controllers? Sounds like they want a monopoly on accessories.
Hopefully Razer will come out with a PS3 one soon.

Yeah, it's a WoW-clone even down to the action bar layout--but that's not always a bad thing. Hopefully the PVP picks up.
...I do agree with you Cez. If developers make games we want to play--people will buy them. Look at the hugely popular Blizzard franchises that sell millions on the PC--and are easily piratable.
