If the PS3 is so technologically inferior, why does Killzone 3/God of War 3/Uncharted 2 graphically own every exclusive 360 title or multiplat?
Been playing the closed beta for a while now. It's an excellent example of how free online games should be.

I was worried about this.
I'm cancelling my pre-order. I throw the credit onto LA Noire and play Dragon Age 2/Killzone till then.
I've been playing the 360 demo like crazy. I already have my PS3 version pre-ordered--but if the PS3 demo pulls a Red Dead Redemption (ie. looks like crap) I'm cancelling it.
I bought this day one and it works great. The dpad is almost impossible to 'transition' during regular gameplay, and when you do 'switch' it the new dpad works much, much better.
In fact, I keep mine permanently 'transitioned' since I usually use the dpad for menus, etc.

Fair enough. KZ3 is phenomenal, hopefully SOCOM will (finally) be decent.
Anytime I play MAG there's tons of people going at it. Never hard to get into a game. Lots of people on my friends list play hard too.
I like how all the KZ criticisms are the same, colourless/generic/linear, as if they've even played it. Not to mention such vague criticisms can be applied to practically every FPS in the last 10 years.
I've been playing videogames across consoles since the 8-bit days. I have never experienced anything like Killzone 2/3 in my life, it's sad that fanboys can't even understand why the series is so powerful.

Whats the gist of the multiplayer? Is it some kind of CoD/BF hybrid? I'm really looking for a more involved shooter than just Team Deathmatch, but I haven't been able to really get the sense of Homefront yet.
...proved you could make a great shooter without noobtubing, camping, killstreaks etc.
If they don't completely re-imagine the next CoD, Battlefield 3 will mop the floor.

Honestly, I'm glad the 360 has a great-looking game. And while it can't top Killzone 3 it's still pretty. We all must admit the 360 is a solid machine to be able to output those kind of graphics after all these years.
