Yeah, I'm grabbing the Hardened Edition so hopefully the 1-year trial will prove it's worth it.
Is the game any good?
Yeah, it's big whoop if you're not interested in technology that makes a more seamless gaming experience.
For the rest of us gamers? Blu-ray's here to stay, so you can keep your 3 DVD diskswapping-minigame.
EDIT: gamingdroid--good call. I forgot about those one time installs that interrupt a 20-odd-hour gaming experience. Oh wait.
Same here brah.
Dude, give me a break. Of course no one WANTS to kill chilldren, but some people want REALISM.
In the original Fallout there were children--you could kill them. Was it for experience? No. For a quest? No. It was for the realism...since, you know Fallout's a @#$@ing wasteland--people die!
I'm personally tired of soccer moms telling us what's acceptable in a game. Children zombies add realism and a disturbing element to what should be a disturbing g...
Yep. Interesting find, but the site's definitely doing it 4 teh hitz.
The Beta Opt-In has been available for months--if not a year. This title's slightly misleading.
Truth.
Patent law needs reform.
Just pre-ordered Hardened. My local games store is only getting FIVE COPIES. Hardened's gonna sell fast.

EYE DID IT
I play inverted too. It's a more natural way to control your perspective.
Ubisoft screwed up like this before: Beyond Good & Evil.
Are any of these Virutal Console releases in 3D ala Excitebike?
I don't know about you, but Vita = Day One.
It's Windows PHONE 7. It's a cell phone game.
The PS2 hit $150 within 5 years of launch--that was half it's launch price. The PS3 has a similar pattern, $500 at launch (depending which model you use) down to $250 five years later.
So any 'price drop doom-and-gloom' stories are probably just bored gamers waiting for Uncharted 3 ;)
Man, if you can play JC Denton, that'd be absolutely insane. Especially if they replicate all the augs from the original (although admittedly, DX:HR augs are better). What a throw-back!
Good point. I'd argue games *are* afraid to ask, because the 'mainstream gamer' is not one who's deep enough to enjoy these kind of topics in a game.
That being said, there are a section of mature gamers who like these topics. I personally do, but the anime-style is too jarring for the story to be immersive. Heavy Rain is more my style.
Son, Conviction's a copy of Hitman. The Hitman and Thief games were the original stealth titles. MGS and SC brought steath to the consoles (not considering the original Metal Gear series).
