I agree with your ranking, and (for me) the original SH is number 1 simply because its what made me love the series to begin with. However, I liked Homecoming more than SH4.
I also agree with grzajabarkus; it needed a little more polish, but for for a SH game Downpour is certainly a solid addition to the franchise.
"I even made excuses for the motion picture"
Seriously? I honestly stopped reading right there. The movie was, in my opinion, one of the best game-to-movie adaptations.
Anyway, the game does not deserve such a low rating. Yes, it has some technical hiccups, but other games have worse bugs and even win GOTY (I'm looking at you Skyrim). I've played since the first Silent Hill and I am enjoying this one so far. I haven't finished so I c...
I have the wi-fi model and I'm really enjoying it so far. Navigating through games/applications is simple and intuitive (love the touch-screen) and the dual analog sticks are great for games. I feel like its a PS3 combined with an ipod touch and I love that.
My only gripe is that it can be uncomfortable to play games on after a decent length of time. When switching between using the analog sticks, buttons, touch-screen and also the touch-pad on the back, it can be awkwa...
You're too old when you stop liking the hobby. But if you continue to love gaming then being 'too old' is BS.
I just turned 34 and I still play as much as I did when I was in my teens. Sure, I stopped for a few years when my daughter was an infant (obviously babies take tons of time and attention), but now she's 13 and I have lots more time on my hands. The best part is that my daughter loves games as much as me and we get to spend time together sharing the...
You don't have kids, do you?
If you like to collect game trophies then I think there is actually some replay value. I played the game through once and I look forward to going through the experience again to try and complete all of the trophies. :)
I have to agree. I played the KoA demo and felt like I was playing fable + a little Dragon Age mixed in.
Yes, the guide does have maps of the areas. The maps are really the only reason I bought the guide myself, but due to the way the world is set up many of the maps can be confusing (at least for me).
There is better advice for the game to be found online rather than in the guide, but the maps are very useful.
Agreed. I played it on PS3 and it was a struggle just to finish it with how many times it crashed on me. The game plus all DLC (which i haven't played yet) at $15 is very tempting indeed. :)
Here's a list of the monster and character classes in D4:

"Women having big breast is not cool to me."
Wow. So then because I myself naturally have big boobs I'm automatically not cool? You don't happen to be a woman with *small* breasts, do you? Because that statement sounds a little bitter to me.
@Baka-akaB: Agreed.
Wow, no game-save feature? Really?
Awesome. Just grabbed 4 games that I had on my wishlist, all for under $14. I love steam sales. :)
I loved AC2, and I was excited about Brotherhood even though it came out so soon after it. But this one... I don't know, I'm just not hyped for it at all. Maybe its because it is coming out way too soon after other games I was looking more forward to (Dark Souls, Uncharted, Skyrim). It just seems like horrible timing for AC.
Honestly, I don't think Skyrim is coming out of my console any time soon. I'll most likely be picking up AC3 when it's deeply disco...
I'm married in real life, so... I don't think I want to have to maintain a relationship in a game. Too much work; games are suposed to be fun. -_^

"Occupy your partner: You’re lucky if you’re a woman; just tell your husband he can do whatever he wants for the weekend. You won’t see him until Monday."
Hahaha! So true. My husband knows I'll be occupied from Friday-Sunday and I told him to make his own plans and he's happy with that. The nice thing is that he's actually planned some time to spend with our daughter; bonus.
Agreed. Sorry to those who have had trouble figuring out the puzzles, but I found them way too easy. I was done them in no time and found myself wishing for something more challenging.
The gunfights, however, kick my ass.
I gotta agree about that kid in Fallout 3. I played it through a second time as an 'evil' character and by the time I got to that part in the game I was already used to solving all my problems with my gun... but couldn't do it there.
I don't think DS2 is the same though. The babies are already monsters, not really innocents.
Personally I'm a bit torn on the subject. Yeah, sometimes I would like to just plow through a game all evil-like...
A wider variety of games need to be released, and I also think that they need to hurry up and get all PS1 classics working on it. I'm enjoying my Vita, but seriously, it needs more software.
