Agreed. I've dropped my vita more than once with no breakages. I leave it on or in sleep all the time (I only turn it off to switch out memory cards) and have left it plugged in to charge for days on end. No burnouts, cracked screens, etc.
I too hope it comes out as soon as June. As for X-2 getting an HD version I'd actually love that. I may be one of the few that enjoyed that game. Yes, it was quite J-pop and sappy, but something about the dressphere system was really addictive for me.
I think people can become addicted to good experiences. So its not really the drug thats the problem, its the constant need to feel that good feeling. I think for some people (not ALL people of course) they do something and its really fun for them at the time and then when its over they think about it and want to replicate that experience again. To be honest, I feel like they ARE working on a re-make of FF7 and have been for years. I think they're just waiting for the PS4 bomb to drop and release it for that system. They'd be stupid not to. It just screams MONEY! And really, they need some (money).
Just FYI, you can already sign in on one PS3 with multiple accounts. I play split-screen Borderlands 2 with either my husband or my daughter and they both use their own accounts with their own characters.
Agreed. I feel like this is why they're doing the current PS+ promotion (buy 1 year get 3 months free) that is lasting until early March. I think they're banking on a lot of new subs after tomorrow. I mean, if they were completely getting rid of PS+ for PS 'world' people who subbed in during this time would be super-pissed.
Just feed it accuracy boosting treats and equip it appropriately to also increase that stat.
When I was going for my last trophy and had to farm materials for alchemy I just used a 3rd tier Dinoceros with Earsplitter and made everyone else do nothing. He pretty much decimated everything in one hit from that trick.
Wow, impressive. I think they really advertised AC3 well because I actually had family/friends who don't game (but know I do) ask me if I tried it. My 60-year-old mother even said to me "that new game with an assassin it looks like it would be good." (!) And my mom doesn't really play games.

I understand what you mean, but consider that there are tons of products out there with multiple SKUs based on what they provide (iPhones and iPads come to mind) and the general public seems to make their purchasing decisions just fine.

I'm really trying not to be on the "DEATH-TO-SE!!" bandwagon, but they are making it so hard not to be. I tried to like FF13, but ultimately left disappointed.

Its been out since Tuesday in US & Canada. Personally I've already sunk over 10 hours into it since release.
I played the Japanese version through last year and loved it. I'm looking forward to playing it in English next week. :)
There are a lot of games on that list I'm looking forward to, but the lack of solid release dates is concerning. Especially for Final Fantasy X which is something I'm really looking forward to.

I agree with your points (no L2/R2 buttons and a design that is not very comfortable to hold for long periods of time). I wouldn't mind clickable analog sticks either. :)
