Oblivion was my first 'next gen' game on a console. I emerged from the sewers and waited for the game to tell me where to go next... then realizing I could go anywhere I wanted. Do anything I wanted. Mind Blown.
My close second is Demon's Souls. That whole experience was just amazing.
Agreed, but I (personally) won't even bother with the auto-sync. It's easy enough to just sync them before turning off the system.
lol, bubbles to you. :)
I also finally picked this game up and have been thoroughly enjoying it. I've paid full price at realease for other less-enjoyable games and yet I got this one for next-to- nothing... almost makes me feel bad about it.
I'll definitely be grabbing the second one ASAP.
Yeah, it had a lot of the cast from 'Mad Men' as well as other very recognizable people. I do wonder what they paid for the actors alone...
The video game version does allow land cards to be played before combat. You can also play creatures, artifacts, etc. before attacking too. I'm really not sure why you are not able to in your demo...
I think its just the natural evolution of things.
First it was books...
Then it was TV...
Now its video games.
None of these are 'new'.
Great deal! I've been meaning to pick this series up, just got 3 & 4 new for under $50 (before tax). Around here they are around that much for each one, and thats 'used'.
I thought it was especially funny when the first game was shown (COD:MW3) and all of a sudden it paused was like "please connect controller".... and then almost everything else was kinnect.
I noticed some pretty bad lag between action and response too. It really is sad that Kinect can only seem to do on-rails. Especially since I have Kinect and have been waiting for something a little more impressive than what is available right now.
And going forward in-game by doing a chest-bumping action?
...really?
Great link, it will help with those film reels that have been a pain to find. Thanks!
Still life is a good adventure game, but Still Life 2 is rather bad. I really enjoy a good adventure game (Longest Journey/Dreamfall & Syberia being some of my faves), but I was really disappointed with SL2, especially since I paid $20 for it upon release. I don't think I'd even pay $3 for it TBH.
Still Life, on the other hand, is a good deal at $8.
That's exactly what I've been waiting for as well.
I'd love to hear some player opinions as well.
If David O thinks he has such a great script then why doesn't he just rename the characters, slap a different title on it & try to peddle it as an all new IP?
I mean, it sounded nothing like Uncharted as it was. I am just baffled why some directors have to take a good idea/game and turn it into something it is not.
Agreed.
FF13 was definitely different from other FF games, but I welcome change (apparently the majority of FF fans do not). I enjoy playing a game that is not a cookie-cutter replica of one I've already played. I wasn't crazy about every aspect of FF13 (battles did get to be a chore in some areas, and some of the characters grated on my nerves), but it kept me entertained with a new leveling & battle system.
But yeah, games like Skyrim, Disga...
Ouch
jahcure is right. Everyone who has a credit card is completely safe from unauthorized purchases. If there is a charge you didn't authorize you just dispute it with your CC company and you'll get the charge reversed.
The real victims of credit card fraud are the companies and businesses that unkowingly accept your credit card for a fraudulent purchase. They end up being the ones out-of-pocket, not you or your CC company.
Amen!
The argonian pictured is female, but this is the only player-created female character I've seen so far.
