I'm sorry but half these 'studs' look more like 'chicks' to me. I'm a lady and do not find the majority of fictional characters on this list appealing (although Baldur isn't too bad).

I am shocked Nathan Drake isn't included.

Great advertising = advertising that people will talk about: either positively or negatively.

Well done Sony. I wish I could get a copy of that newspaper here in Canada.

People are getting killed but the fact that it is delaying a video game release is being reported as important news....

Unbelievable.

I couldn't agree more.

My daughter loves this game, and all of her friends that she's had over and played it with want this game so bad. The problem is that none of them have a PS3 in their house! I had to try and explain to one little girl why LBP wouldn't work if she put it into her Wii (!).

Many parents just buy their kids a Wii, and I think a lot of households may not be able to afford a PS3 even when their kids ask for it (plus LBP) this Xmas.

Looks like I'm going to be asking for MS points cards for Xmas. :)

I don't understand the complaints about bad or difficult controls.

The game has a total of 3 buttons/actions that are required when going through a level: move, jump and grab.

Pretty basic if you ask me.

I honestly think that this game is at it's best when played locally with friends. Yes, it is boring if you play through the story levels by yourself. It's a blast when you play co-operatively with others.

And yes, creating levels IS hard and complex. But it's completely optional and not required to enjoy other levels of the game.

When I found out Bioshock was coming to PS3 I was happy.

When extra content for the PS3 version was announced I was thrilled.

When I found out the PS3 version would be priced like a new game, I figured it wasn't too bad due to the extra content being talked about.

When I found out the extra content wouldn't be included on the disc (even though the PS3 version was priced about $20 more then the current 360 version) I decided to pass on it...

I can't relate to this article at all, and yes, I'm a lady. I say 'lady' because I think I'm too old to be called a 'girl'. I have no catiness toward any other female gamers. In fact, I completely geek-out when I meet another female who loves games and we always get along. But then again, I do the same thing when I meet a guy gamer.

I stopped playing MMO games. I would get far too addicted and into those games, so I just won't let myself play them. I play just about every other type of game though, and often. Sometimes he'll even join me, but he is definitely not an avid gamer like I am.

I think this guy has some valid concerns. I'm a girl gamer, been married 11 years, have a daughter, and I have a husband who gets jealous of any time I may spend online. He's talked his issues out with me, and I cut back on certain aspects of gaming, because I respect & care about the relationship.

This guy just needs to talk with his girlfriend about it, if she cares enough for him she'll agree to a compromise.

This applies to both girl and guy gamers.

"And in the end I've would have bought it even if they moved the production over to a malaysian primate sweatshop, changed the genre to rodeo sports and forced me to dip my p*nis in a bucket full of cold water the whole time I was playing it."

You, sir, gets bubbles for that sentence.

taking marks off for an improved combat system? seriously, that review lost all credibility right there. the crappy combat in the earlier titles is not what made them scary (for me at least), they were simply frustrating.

6347d ago 3 agree0 disagreeView comment

Agreed. When I read the snippit I thought 'sounds like every other SH game'. Maybe the reviewer was looking for something different with this one?

As a longtime SH fan, I'm still looking forward to it.

...those who buy the arcade and later want a hard drive will probably just go out and buy the hard drive add-on. Even though it would be cheaper for them to just buy a more expensive xbox SKU initially, some people (especially those who are not avid gamers, or those who don't do their research first) will not think of that before hand.

I went for the $399 Elite this month and am disapointed to find it still lacks many of the features my PS3 came standard with. Things like Wifi ...

This is why there are difficulty levels.

I, personally, like to experience a game without getting killed over and over. However, if I really like a game, I will go back and play it on a harder difficulty.

I agree with this. I prefer my PS3 but I got a 360 for it's exclusives (like Fable & Mass Effect). I am torn on which system to buy Fallout 3 for...

it came with 2 free games too (gears of war & the DOA vollyball one). After getting it all hooked up and going I have found I got less for my money then I did with my PS3.

The elite does not come wifi ready and the component for it is another $100 (here in Canada). This came standard with the PS3 (free).

Also, I had to spend another $40 on a rechargable controller battery and cable. This also came standard with the PS3 (free).

I am enjoying ...

This has to make it NA (please!), Disgaea & the PSP go so well together. Is the PSP region-free like the PS3?
