Demoed this yesterday and really enjoyed it, very addicting gameplay, so I bought it. I'm looking forward to playing some split-screen co-op with my daughter. :)
Agreed. I haven't touched my game in a while & am waiting for some news on a PS3 patch. Great game, but very glitchy.
I highly doubt this is real, just looks like a clever marketing stunt. Although I know my own daughter would love it if I let her stay home on 11/11/11 to play Skyrim, I'd never actually let her....
...because I'M going to be staying home to play Skyrim!
Sure, that's not the most responsible thing for me to do either, but I run my own business and have allowed myself the time off in advance. :)
Sorry, but a few paragraphs do not make a 'guide'. I was expecting bonfire locations, number of souls required for each level-up, details on spells, etc. from a 'guide'.
Sorry you are having trouble, but personally I'm finding this one easier/better. I like the changes they've made, the bonfires are much better than the Nexus, and I seriously think the fighting is more fluid. It is so easy to roll around, dodge, block and riposte. Unless you're wearing heavy equipment? I'm still wearing the tattered gear I started with and I'm doing great. I can dodge just about anything (but of course, not everything).
The thing I like ...
I plan on brushing-up on my Demon's Souls tonight too. I want to be as prepared as I can be for tomorrow! :)
Just curious, which platform are you playing it on?
"Though heavy on the action, Dark Souls is not like Call of Duty or even Oblivion, this is better enjoyed in a quiet room with a stiff drink"
lol, and that's exactly how I plan on playing it when I pick it up tomorrow. :)
Argonian. Love that ability to breath underwater.
Very sparse and nit-picky preview...
@Zechs34: The thing is that many people already have another version of the game, so why would someone shell out more money (even if is relatively cheap) for the same game they already have just to get a sub-par visual make-over?
I still have my GC version & until Capcom gives me a good reason to buy the updated version (ie, more game modes, motion control support, etc.) they will not get more of my money.
The HD version is missing game modes? I didn't know this. Which ones?
I know, right? No Move support & no plat trophy made this one a pass for me. I mean, it couldn't have been that hard to add Move... the game was previously released on the Wii!
Awesome news, can't wait for this one!
Buggier than Fallout New Vegas? That game was painful to get through with all the times it froze on me. I still struggled through it though because I liked the game... when it worked that is.
For me, Demon's Souls. Like... all of it.
Can't wait for Dark Souls!
Love Disgaea games, can't wait to pick this up next week.
I bought Fallout 3 for xbox because I knew it was getting DLC earlier... and you know what? I never even got around to buying it until AFTER the PS3 had it too.
Why? Because the game was huge already, and I also had other games that distracted me too.
I'll be buying Skyrim for PS3 this time around, I don't mind waiting for the DLC that I won't even got too until MUCH later.
Phantasmagoria... I played that for the first time when I was a kid and had NO IDEA what I was getting into. While it seems a little tame compared to some stuff out there now, it really freaked me out back then.
So, of course, I bought them both again as soon as they were released on gog.com
:)
I personally think it is that good. If you are unsure you can always demo the game for free to try before buying. That's what I did on PSN and I was hooked after only 10 minutes of gameplay.
