I couldn't wait and imported the vita 2-pack from Japan (I'm still buying the English version for PS3 when it gets released here though). It's scheduled to be delivered to me today... so the world will cease to exist for me for the weekend.
What? No Chocolina from Final Fantasy 13-2?
I'm kidding of course... she was super-annoying.
I've had my eye on this one and was considering importing the Japanese version. I'm more than happy to wait if I can play it in English. :)
Should be titled:
"The Top 10 Greatest Video Game Stories... from main-stream games released only within the last several years (except for the obligatory FF7 mention)"
There are tons of niche games with more thought-provoking and emotionally-stirring stories out there.
Decided to import the Vita bundle of both games from Japan, I just can't wait anymore, lol. I'm going to pick them up when they are released in English for PS3 too. These are easily my favorite FF games.
@Irishguy95... "Its the same scenario as someone saying the last of us is Uncharted with limited ammo. When the game plays nothing like Uncharted."
LOL, I can't count the number of times friends said to me 'it's just like uncharted, right?' when talking about Last of Us.
No. It's not.
I even had one friend about to buy it for his 9-year-old for that reason. I was like.... no. Play it first and then decide.
Seriously? No.
But I do think it's up to personal preference. I've played both through and I personally enjoy Don't Starve MUCH more than Contrast.
I do agree. If Sony had made an option to buy a more expensive version of PS4 that had BC I would have bought it instead of the cheaper $400 version. As long as the extra was comparable to buying another PS3 or less.
Main reason? Lack of extra HDMI inputs for my TV, and space to put said systems.
@ginsunuva, you pretty much nailed it with that comment. I completely agree.
I mean, I have lots of TV shows on DVD that netflix (which I'm subscribed to) has available to stream, but I'm not crying about it.
Very interesting read, thanks! :)
I played the beta for much of it's infancy and saw the game evolve quite a bit. I'm looking forward to seeing what actually made it through the beta process and to the PS4 version.
Agreed, I'm very surprised with this list. This game has the potential for some very fun/creative trophy goals.
The way I read it was it's a stand-alone game for the WiiU but it would allow a player the option to import pokemon via the pokebank from the 3DS X/Y games. So I don't think a 3DS would be necessary, but really, I think any fans of the series already have one anyway. :)
Hope this all turns out to be true, I would absolutely LOVE a quality pokemon game for the big screen.
This was my first thought too.
Played some AC4 through remote play the other day and was pretty impressed. It's a great feature that I think I'll be using a lot... especially when the hockey game is on and my husband wants the TV.
Well then you're just not doing it right.
I loved Don't Starve on PC, can't wait to play it on PS4 in a couple weeks. This is probably my most anticipated PS4 game right now, lol.
Shared trophy list when its not cross-buy? That's kind of annoying... You have to buy them separately so (in my eyes) they should have different trophy sets.
I honestly would have bought both versions if their trophies were separate. I'm one of those crazy people who loves chasing trophies, and I love these games. However, with this news I think I'll just be sticking with the vita versions.
Agreed, I checked to price of the 32's and it was still like $75. I happily grabbed a couple 16's at $20 each though. :)
Don't know, can't find one. >.<
Thanks for the info and correction, bubbles for helpfulness. :)
Nope, the language is Japanese only both audio and sub for the Japanese release.
