Well for example, Red Dead Redemption... Without install, you get pop-ins, with install, all pop-ins go away...
Had KZ3 been on a more capabble console it wouldn't have even been 12GB. They had to pre-render all the cut scenes in blink video of all things, because the PS3 is too weak to play back an mpeg4 encoded video and load things in the background at the same time.
They also reduced the quality of the pre-rendered cut scenes to create the impression that they were being rendered by the game engine, once again, they did all that because the blu-ray is too slow to stream al...
Fire up Oblivion...
Chewbacca lives on Endor therefore Kinect is a failure...
What... people who could use a little bit of exercise and like to listen to pop music??? You don't say.
I for one welcome are more fit and trim formerly fat gay men and fat women overlords.
I LOLed, so true.

Microsoft is incapable of keeping secrets. I say that they announce this year that they will announce next year the new Xbox.
The current cpu in the xbox has both the gpu and cpu on a single chip, and the interchange between the two is actually quite a bit faster than it was originally, and they had to include an extra bit to slow it down for older games that depended on the older timings.
Also, and I have tried this, but installed games on the new xbox load considerably faster than installed games on the old xbox, so there there have been improvements in the hard drive interface as well, but I don&...
ZDNet has a long history of hating on Microsoft, so I'd take this with a grain of salt. So sorry, any news source that has SJVN on the payroll is not a legitimate source.
I agree with everything above, but for calling it Digital Rights Management.
DRM actually means, Digital Restrictions Management.
Also, Steam is obviously getting ready to enhance their DRM to include the concept of tying games to a specific PC with reacent "security" enhancement.
Expect plenty of hubris from me fanboys when Steam follows through with that, but go ahead and disagree with me for now;P
I am waiting on Fable 3 until it is $20 on GamesOnDemand, because it didn't appear to pass my "I'd shuffle the DVD for this game" test...
Although I eventually want to play it...
It looks a lot better than the game Tank on the Atari 2600, but otherwise appears to be basically the same game.
Well it is more than that.. It came out already, it was an OK game by all measures. It sold, OK. No one is going ZOMG at the story like they did for Bioshock when that came out. No one is commenting about the amazing replay value the game had like they did for Mass Effect. In fact, even the mindless drooling fanboys on this thread admit, IT IS NOT THAT FUN, so why are they still talking about it???
The KZ3 fanboys needs to STFU alreay... sheesh, you are not going to ch...
I don't care if the game has cgi movie like graphics, it has to be fun, and if you include a story, it has to involve the characters, otherwise all that technical know how is crap.
See Transformers 2
sheesh
A game I am willing to shell out 60 sheckles for! Its been so long!
Edit: and I was stating an opinion, not a troll. On the other hand you resorted to name calling again;P
Maybe the dude just has a low self esteem with a little bit of bi-polar thrown in? Fable 2 was a good game, until you got to the end, then it was like the most bleh ending of all time.
They do that because of gamers... The try to do new things, but then gamers reject new games, and new modes of play. So the big game houses stick with tried and true formulas.
On the otherhand it does create a nitch for indy game devs.
I feel sorry for you having to bask in the light of the one true version that will only run on the xbox 360.
Usually load faster, my ass. They ALWAYS load faster, and the slim is faster again that the old xboxes.
