First one RROD'd first day. Took it back to BB next day, replaced no question asked.
That one lasted a little over a year before the DVD died, Called Microsoft, and they replaced it no questions asked.
I still have that one.
Got a new Slim with Kinect and 250gig hd this last xmas. Boy it certainly seems that this console works better than the old consoles...

I don't know what it is about Marvel games, but there is a certain type of Marvel game that screams to me that the console generation is just about over... This is one of them.

So if you are 10 years old, or you like games that 10 year olds play, this is a good game.
GTAIV had to live up to GTA San Andreas, and that game had so much stuff, and the character was likeable for being a murderous psychopath, and there was just so much stuff to do... I mean, GTASA is the apex of gaming, and even though I think GTAIV was a great game, it still was no GTASA, and thus a letdown...

First the xbox already has a 3 core cpu and those cores are hyperthreaded, so it is like 6 cores...
Also the xboxs gpu is already integrated onto the same chip at cpu on current model.
I think the next chips on the consoles will be massive numbers of special purpose cores, with a hefty dose cpu like cores to stage everything...
Like 30-50 cores on next gen cpus... all on ...

Sony is not beholden to fanboys. They are duty bound to their shareholders. If they can make more money releasing multi-plat then they are required to, by law. (no really, if a publically held company does something for a reason other than make money, they are breaking the law)
So the only way Sony can continue to release a bunch of so-so selling exclusives, is if they can make the case to shareholders that they need to do that. On the oth...
And the current generation will likely end before either console matches the sales that the wii has today... Let alone in a couple of years...
