The way people were talking this up a couple days ago, I would have thought it would have been a 10. Other than the hilarious and bad at the time text to speech these games were always just below mediocre. No nostalgia glasses for me. They were bad in the 90s and haven't changed.
This is the eu blog. Are the games the same for the USA? Oh well if not. Bloodbourne was amazing and one of the best games I have beaten in recent times. Have fun!
Digital and online only are the future! Seriously though. The idiots wanting to give up their consumer rights and give companies power through digital and online gaming now reap what they've sown. Enjoy!
I love my vita, and it's one of my favorite all time systems. But I'm not going to recommend it this late in the game. It's a great system that alot of people missed out on, unfortunately.
Just as they did for paid online, gamers are lining up to be bent over with microtransactions. Gaming as a fun hobby is now out the window with the monetization and e sports. I'm glad I could enjoy it in it's heyday, when it was a creative, and passionate hobby enjoyed by the developers and gamers alike. RIP gaming.
Been a platinum fan since Madworld, but really became a fan with vanquish. I liked bayonetta and beat it, but the series, for me, is not that great. Really button mashy, and repetitive. The characterization is great, as with all platinum games though. Glad the switch guys get another bayonetta, but I am really hoping Sega will let them do vanquish. Or a spiritual successor, for all the platforms.
The Yakuza series is great, and a great example of the underappreciation of Sega games. Even dead souls, which I thought was going to be bad, turned out to be one of my favorites in the series, due to the insane characters and dark comedy. Glad Sega stuck with it.
Doesn't matter. The way the industry is going, this will probably be the last gen I play. Too many people are willing to give up their consumer rights for convienence. Once it's all digital, companies will take even more advantage of the gamers.
Microsoft had a chance to buy Sega in the past, and didn't have the vision to do it. They are now a successful company again, and will not be bought by anyone. Microsofts best bet is to scoop up dead franchises, or non established studios. They should have bought some of the studios that ea closed.
