The ones I get are. I do research, and wait for major sales. My ceiling is usually 40 bucks or less. 40 is pushing it. I usually wait about six months or more to get some games. But my backlog is stacked, so I dont worry about new releases.
I remember when rainbow six launched with nothing. Then, a few free downloads and the game is supported by the community, jerking off ubisoft for saving the game. Lol. Gamers.
It's funny, when just a couple years ago, people that supported these kind of games were called weeaboo perverts and worse. Now it's a hot button freedom of speech/ censorship issue. The game industry and gamers are full of hypocrisy.
It depends. Games like bloodborne can be finished fast, but replayability extends it. Some open world games are way too long, and some are long because you want to explore it. The gene of game plays into it also. A 10 hour rpg is not expected, but a 30 hour fighting game or beat em up is too much. For me, a sweet spot has been 20- 40 hours, with some 10 and under games peppered in for good measure.
Wait, wait, wait. Marvel vs capcom infinite was panned by fans and journalists alike, therefore leading to not enough sales to justify continuing the series, and you really expected an announcement of mvc 4? I mean, seriously, no one supported it.
I would be more concerned with the games that are "trapped" by digital only offerings. Those are actually in danger of disappearing before physical copies of older systems.
