This has got to be one of the best creator games ever made. The stuff I've seen is amazing.

The gameplay footage was pretty epic. Square soft has alot of mmo experience and definately has a great single player pedigree. Looking forward to this. I do have some reservations though.

His focus is on portability. Japanese are into games portability, but that is not a major factor in other regions. I would say exclusives and online are more important factors for me. I enjoy some handheld gaming, but I dont take my games everywhere. In my life, I use games as a time to relax, and am not glued to a device 24/7. Ps has been fulfilling the gaming needs I have, exclusive, third party, and online. But, to each their own.

I'm just not a Nintendo fan because their first party is stale, and third parties have moved on to better tech. They have made a comeback with the switch, but it's about 4 gens too late for me. I loved the SNES, but after that, it was all downhill.

How were sales of square games on Microsoft hardware? That's going to be a big indicator.

This strategy is exactly how xbox was able to be a player in the scene. It's not a new strategy and anyone who has used xbox and cries about epic is a hypocrite.
