Atlus and Sega are free to do what they want. That said, there must be a reason the persona main series doesnt crossover, be it buisness deals, or fanbase.
I know how it is to like a game that "failed". Even if it's not that popular, the world and gameplay may be real enjoyable to some. Some (insecure) people are influenced so easily by popular opinion that it is unfathomable that others may enjoy it. I enjoyed metal gear survive immensely. Even though everyone said I should hate it. Keep playing your game dude.
I mean, theres data for the physical distribution, but I've never really saw a breakdown for digital. As it is a different platform, and a closed environment, there could be different factors involved. But, yeah, if a dev wants to skip those to make more money, it's their choice and product.
It makes sense. Devs wouldn't do it unless it made sense or they can sell their product for a bigger piece of their pie. Epic store is shaking up a marketplace that is essentially controlled by one entity. Good for them.
For me, vanquish will always be the pinnacle of the action genre. It's too bad people didnt start paying attention to platinum until recently, because one of the funnest multiplayer modes on a game was anarchy reigns, when it had full lobbies. I beat the first bayonetta, but didnt really think it was that great. It was good, I just thought vanquish was better.
