@th30 a company may have a probationary period, they still have to pay you for your time... Not the same thing. Piracy is theft, the same as walking into a bestbuy and putting a game in your pocket and walking out.
How is VGCharts not banned yet, I mean march and April NPD numbers prove just how bad the site is. Both months they had XB1 beating PS4 in sales in America, but when real numbers came out, march PS4 by 60,000, and April PS4 by around 100,000... I mean come on N4G ban this site already.
Are you really telling people to look at your history compared to Lukas' history, cause if people actually do they will see your history of being a huge Xbox troll, and Lukas history will show a far more fair balanced perspective as a true gamer that owns multiple systems.

There is only one reason, sales were not as good as they expected. Aprils NPD numbers also show they were declining pretty fast.
Resogun, contrast, don't starve, outlast, mercenary kings, stick to the man,and dead nation, have all been free so far, my guess is before the end of the year, knack and possible AC4 will be on plus... It's been pretty good so far, and will continue to get better over time.
I'd say the sooner the better, but there's so many PS3 and 360 gamers it's hard for a publisher/dev to leave them out. When there's a combined total of 30-40 million XB1/PS4s out there then I think game companies will feel more comfortable with leaving last gen behind.

It matters, especially when there are alternate ways to play the game, it does not matter if it's just for trophies/achievements. I game has to be pretty good for me to want to play it more than once, considering so many great games are out there to play.
This certainly trumps just doing halo 2, and if all 4 games are 60$ it be a great way for someone who never played them, to catch up before Halo 5

5-6$ rentals hope that's for a week(a month be fantastic) but that's a great deal. But for me this all depends on the price... Add a couple of bucks a month to my PS Plus account and that be great. 40 bucks a year now is good price for plus, 60-70 for plus with now and I'm totally in.
For some yes, for others no. I know people who said they hated kinect and would only buy an XB1 if they dropped the kinect... I also know people who don't mind kinect, what upset them was the lack of exclusive games for the 360 for the past few years, those people stopped there support of MS, before they even heard of XB1, and then bought a PS3... And last year got a PS4.
So I think that there announcement yesterday will help get some people to buy, but I don't think...
It still seems to be selling pretty good to me, in some areas of the world the number 1 selling console is the PS4, and the number 2 selling console is the PS3. A 179-199$ 500 gig console will surely help them continue to sell well, and I fully expect them to drop the price on the 3 soon( E3)
That remains to be seen. I do like some of things they did yesterday.
Removing paywall for streaming services, bringing games with gold to XB1, but they should have just dropped the price to 400$ as is, or 350$ without kinect. But how much any of this will help them sell XB1 is no guarantee...

This really just speaks volumes to the fact that Phil should have been made head of Xbox along time ago, this, removing apps from behind the gold sub, changing games with gold and bringing it to XB1... Phil gets it, and I think they'd be around 7-8 million now, in a virtual tie with PS4 in sales.

I know it sucks, but. XB1s are not selling that great and there are plenty everywhere, the PS4 has been selling so well that there hard to keep in stock... Blame your Canadian retailers buddy, cause there is no price hike on PS4s any other place on the planet.
