To those who say knack was bundled in japan, does that mean TitanFall sales don't count cause it's still bundled with XB1, just curious.

Cartridge games were way more expensive, especially after most forms of media were going to disc(first cd, then dvd) back in the good old SNES/ genesis days games could be 60-100$ add inflation to that and your looking at 150-200$ today. Mortal Kombat, and spider- man maximum carnage were 2 of the most expensive games I ever owned. We are actually kind of lucky that gaming went to disc/digital and became more mainstream, cause prices could very well be at 200$ a game now a days.
Not if the game sells really well. If it does say 5-7 million across all platforms then sure they lost money. If it sells 20-25 million across all platforms they made profit.
It's already has pretty good preorder numbers on PS4,PS3,XB1,XB360, and it's on PC, I also heard it will be on WiiU.

Xbox has a deal with COD for advertising and DLC, much like Sony with watchdogs and destiny.
The trailer they showed did say "captured on Xbox one" it didn't say running on XB1, it didn't said made on XB1, it said captured... To me that indicates they hooked up a PC to an XB1 with HDMI and used XB1s share feature nothing more.
If the game is 800-900p 60fps on XB1, and 1080p 60fps on PS4 what then.
PS3 added features, and didn't have a huge amount of games at the beginning. PS4 will add features, and have a ton of games within the next few years.

I think that the universe that ND created with TLOU has tons of potential for sequels, more on Joel and Ellie's story had more to be told.

Focused on games is where they should have been all along... I wonder sometimes, if Phil replaced Don say 3 years ago, how different XB1 might have been... I mean we'd probably be looking at PS4/XB1 selling neck and neck at about 7-8 million at this point.
The restrictions on gaming content alone makes it hard for any console to be successful in China... There are seriously insane amount of restrictions.
So MS has all the money in the world to throw away... They cans spend money like crazy. Then why not sell XB1 at 350$ surely that would help them gain serious sales.
The reason they don't is because big investors and the heads of MS don't want to lose money. They don't like seeing there stock prices drop.

Wii U MK8 bundles are getting good pre-orders from retailers, I think there is definitely a boost in sales coming for the Wii U... That being said if MK8, and smash fail to help sales than there really is trouble in nintendoland.
I'm fairly sure that a Zelda U announcement at E3 will also help.

More powerful than an XB1, witch by the way also gets out preformed by midrange PCs... PS4 out preforms XB1, PCs out preform both.
In the article they talk about the casual gaming market, but seriously that market is gone, moved on to tablets and such. And the talk about the broad scope of entertainment features, well both PS4 and XB1 have nearly the same features, and as the years progress they will continue to be identical in the entertainment area, and both will probably have some sort of playstation now type service. Besides an HDMI in.
The consoles will become practically the same price around 300...
Yearly games shouldn't mean every franchise has to do it, besides that driveclub, the crew, project cars, possible forza horizon 2, there are a ton of racing games hitting the market this year. Take the time make a really killer NFS, and release next year, no harm in that
