Lol why does everyone think China is going to help. First if you buy a retail version your subject to the high taxes and huge restrictions, if you buy on the black market there you get a better deal, and no restrictions... XB1s have been in China on the black market for a long time same with Wii U and PS4, legal retail release isn't going to help any of them.
If you been paying attention to GameStop best seller list the kinectless XB1 has actually been dropping since E3. Before E3 GameStop had a trade in promotion for XB1, and the kinectless sku was upto like 13-15 in there best sellers since then it's dropped out of the top 50 as of a few minutes ago when I looked at there website
I'd say Nintendo has a really good E3, new Zelda looks really good. They had a lot to show for Nintendo fans, star fox it's been so long since I played star fox. Bayonetta is now a bundle with the first game, devils third, and X all looking pretty good.
I might have to get a Wii U this holiday
2015 the year of the broke gamer... So many games coming out in 2015 it's mind blowing. 2014 still has loads of stuff to look forward too... My poor wallet.
Nothing about sonys conference said fear to me, and I believe PS4 will continue to out sell XB1 even after the kinectless XB1... My guess is world wide PS4 continues a 70,000- 150,000 lead per monthly sales.... Even after MS hits there 2nd tier countries in September
I was thinking the same thing, PSPlus for 50 a year PSnow+ 80-90 a year and you could play what every you wanted, hell even a 100$ a year would have still been a good deal for consumers.
Though I still think in the future they will have a subscription plan 2-20$ a game for what 90 days isn't a bad deal

I know you guys are disagreeing but if you know my history I am a huge Sony fan, so I didn't take pleasure in saying I think MS had a SLIGHTLY better show.

Though Sony's LBP 3 was a surprise, and there farcry 4 announcement was pretty huge... Even people that don't own the game can play FC4 co-op with you.
Wanted way more uncharted 4 and first party exclusives from Sony though
Overall I give them a B
They focused on games, showed off support for indies, but nothing surprising, nothing really huge.
Sunset overdrive gameplay, crackdown 3, and there indies were the best of there show IMO
If your that into Halo, wouldn't you have always been planning on getting an XB1, or already have one.
@georgenoob and your trying way to hard to make it like there was anything amaZing announced, no gameplay for any games on your list for 2015 and beyond, most was 3rd party, again they spent to much money on 3rd party exclusive content, fact is they really didn't show anything that wasn't already known about. No megaton announcements, no surprises, and hardly any gameplay.
I give them a B, they did show some indies, they stayed focused on games.

THE original PS3 had b/c in the very beginning and the machine cost 600-700$. And when Sony had to bring the price down they dropped the b/c... Any of the redesigned PS3s no longer had BC... And it's not as easy as a simple software emulator, or has zero cost effect... Nintendo had it cause they didn't change that much... XB1 and PS4 changed there insides a lot from the previous gen.
I'm really upset that I don't have Wolfenstien yet:-( every time I see this game it looks better and better.
So I take it by your comment, and need for backwards compat, that you own a Wii U and PC, because those are the only machines with B/C... Wii U is the only console, and PC don't really have generations, so if your old rig could play it than your new rig can...
Gotta agree with GreenLantern on this Sony like MS excluded B/C because of additional cost on there machine hence added cost to consumers, coupled with Sony wanting to push PSNow, and I'm sure MS has a similar s...
Eternal Darkness 2 would make me buy a Wii U in a heartbeat
Okay the only thing that I want from this MK is that each character has like a minimum of 4 fatalities, really I would prefer like 6-8, but I'd be happy with four. IMO, the fact MK hasn't increased the number of fatalities per character is what holds the series back.
Plus since this is about fighting games, can anyone tell me how similar the gameplay is between the new KillerInstinct, and the original, cause I really loved the original
Gamestops not saying how many people are trading in these consoles though, I was pretty surprised that they had used XB1, PS4, and Wii U, all for sale... In fact someone was there yesterday when I went in trading in an XB1 for a WII U, and someone came in as I was leaving trading in a PS4, not sure what they were getting as I was already walking out the door.
