Every month PS4 sells more consoles than XB1, so if it's 7 million to 4.5 million and PS4 continues to outsell XB1 by 50,000 a month the PS4 lead continues to grow, just look at march NPD numbers PS4 sold 60,000 more than XB1, and that's just America. For XB1 to catch up they have to sell more units per month.
20.5 million games sold just for PS4, XB1 game sales are strong, I think with new upcoming games sales will be fine for 2014.
They should focus on giving better games, new games, and not rushed broken versions(BF4)
I hope they make a new one... A rerelease of the first 3 would be ok, but a new one fully made for next gen is what I really want

All you guys talking 4k... 2 questions how much did your 4k monitor cost and how big is it, 2 how much did your rig cost.
Studies show that you need at least a 24 inch monitor and be less than 2 feet away from that monitor for the human eye to notice a difference.
And the further away you are the large the screen you need.
If your 8-10 feet away(the standard living room) you need 70 inch tv at least to even notice a difference between 4k and 1080p
All depends on how much money they put into, and if that money will start to be returned, through subscriptions, and XB1 purchases, though I think it's across all MS products.
Way to early to tell really, and no one knows for sure when this will be launching.
Can't wait to get hands on with this game, looks like it's going to be great.

I've had this game reserved for awhile, but if the add a subscription, I won't be buying this game. Any game really, I'm not paying subscription fees of 15 bucks a month plus 5$ a month for plus, plus 60 for a game, no thanks.
If it's free I might pay sub, but probably not for that long.

Well I think a big portion of the game will be the interaction with other gamers, and the public events... I doubt they did much of that

If either of the companies is going to offer something for free history shows us it would be Sony. It should be free additional service, but they should also have games with gold for XB1, but they don't
@unbiased so what's your take on halo, since bungee started it and it then went to 343 an entirely different company, is halo no longer good, or what about the upcoming gears game, I mean it's not being made by the same people, it went from epic to black tusk so is it going to suck, cause everyone seems to be hyped over.

That's what happens when you have top talent, other companies offer them big money to come work for them, it's called head hunting and has been going on forever.
People leaving studios to work for other studios is nothing new, people leaving studios to start there own company is nothing new. The only thing new about it as everyone seems to think it's some huge deal, and really this is just some attempt to slow down the massive PS4 hype.
Outlast is by far one of the scariest games I ever played. When that big guy is stalking you, the atmosphere, and the mangled bodies all make it amazing
I felt PSASBR was a lifeless fighter, and not really well done, they would have to make a totally different game with much better fighting for me to think it was worth there time, but hey that's just my opinion, it's one of the few Sony franchise I just didn't care for.
I know it didn't sell that great, but I think they could still have good Resistance games, I just enjoyed the franchise.
Uncharted 4 will help, but they should also be showing more stuff since they have some of there best studios still with unannounced games. Plus there should be more on the order 1886, games from media molecule, Sony Santa Monica, and maybe QD. Sony should know they can't rest on there momentum and hype if they want PS4 to stay on top
