I'll just say this 10 million PS4s sold to less than 5 million XB1s sold, a majority of the sales for Tomb Raider were on PS3, and the remastered sold more on PS4... So they cut there sales by more than half... Unless a bunch of Xbox fans become Tomb Raider fans than CD and Square made a mistake... I honestly don't believe that a bunch of people are going to buy XB1 for this game...
It is most likely coming to PC and PS4 in spring 2016 my guess is May. Probably with more con...
One thing is certain though Uncharted 4 will never be on Xbox, but rise of the tomb raider might come to PS4, my guess is around May 2016.
Darrel Dixion?
Crystal Dynamics and Square are the ones that are going to suffer from this, unless MSgave them a lot of money... More people bought Tomb Raider and the remastered version on PS3 and PS4 than on 360 and XB1. There losing more than half there sales... Unless of course a ton of Xbox fans become Tomb Raider fans, cause I don't see this as a reason playstation fans would buy an XB1.
The White PS4 destiny bundle has been doing really well on preorders on amazon and at GameStop... So I'd say there are a good number of people waiting for it to go next gen... I imagine PS4 will see a pretty good sales bump on sept 9... XB1 will probably get a smaller bump...
I guess it sucks to be so unwilling to play games. There are tons of great F2P games if you don't want to spend money PS+ has offered up a variety of solid indie games and there's been some good retail releases. I have probably played 30+ games on PS4 already. Been loving my day one purchase and using my PS4 on almost a daily basis.
I guess we will find out for sure in 2015, Witcher, division, dying light, should all run the same on both consoles... If they are indeed on par with each other.
Well here's a waste of people's money... They are never going to win this lawsuit... KZSF runs 1080p in single player, and the MP runs 60 fps. It's a good game, looks great, and plays great. Once they put a copy in a PS4 and show the judge the game he/she is going to say sorry case closed.
They playstation not only caught the 360, but surpassed it in sales... In terms of quality well the PS3 included wifi, Bluetooth, a 60 gig HDD, and blu-ray from the start, the original 360 had no HDD or a 20 gig HDD, no wifi( but you could buy an adaptor) no Bluetooth, no blu-ray(but you could buy a HD-DVD player, witch turned out to be a waste of money)
Very interested in GG's new game.
I think all games have a place in the 8th gen.
IMO I think this is the first time a lot of people complaining have been early adopters to the new generation of consoles, because for old time gamers this is nothing new, and no big deal. WII U sales are improving, XB1 started off better than 360, and PS4 has been selling great since it's release. No saving needed.
Red butterfly you do know Sony has more than 20 first party studios right, many with 2 or more teams, all working on PS4 games. So after showing 4 maybe 5 games at E3 that's all of them SMH
@hobbyist Nintendo just posted another profit loss, so no, not all sales equal profits for them... They are doing better than they were but at this point still losing money. I do believe Wii U sales will continue to improve, but I also think PS4 sales will improve in japan
19 out of 30 are playstation games
@spid3r6 technically the gap widened by about 75,000 units in America according to NPD numbers, and widened by around 200,000 world wide... See as long as PS4 out sells XB1 the gap gets bigger.
For example let's say PS4 is at 3 million in America, and XB1 is at 2 million, and July numbers are 100,000 for PS4 and 90,000 for XB1, the gap has grown from 1 million to 1milllion 10,000 units, it didn't not shrink.
You see if XB1 continues to sell less than PS4 than ...
He did say MS was going mobile and cloud, with XB1 utilizing the cloud I don't think this round of layoffs means DOOM for the Xbox division. I think most the layoffs effecting the Xbox division are in marketing department. Streamlining a company is what all the big corporations seem to be doing lately to maximize there profits.
They make games for XB1 and that has less sales than Wii U so I don't really see ubisofts point.
A lot of games in October look good, and it's a good mix of action, RPG, racer, horror, a little bit for every gamers taste.
Doesn't halo5 also come out next holiday(2015) so Tomb Raider is competing against MS' biggest franchise for holiday gaming dollars... I think that alone will hurt it sales, not to mention that a majority of Tomb Raider fans play on playstation. So I hope MS paid them a good chunk of money for this TIMED exclusive... Cause I see less sales for Rise of the Tomb Raider, than Tomb Raider.
And I really don't see this as something that will make people buy XB1s... Hal...
