Haha, the "Bitch!" pack. $4.99 to replace your horn with Aaron Paul yelling "Bitch!".
Worth it.
True... sorry, I meant what kewlkat was referring to EDIT:above in terms of the "mass appeal" shooters. Or as the author of that story refers to "AAA Shooters".
I thought Far Cry 3 and Bulletstorm were great games. I could even expand upon that list to be honest with you; I should have been more clear, I was attacking COD and BF 'rinse and repeat' policy which may have (hopefully) just been disrupted.
Moral of the story = Some dude got burned from COD: Ghosts & BF4 and decided to pass on the only shooter in the past 5 years that actually tried to do something different, then called it an achievement.
Update 2 hours from now: He caved, sold the garbage COD/BF games and is now a level 19 pilot in TF
I noticed a lot of German in both comparisons... that was my only concern.
I kid, I kid.
Seriously - I played the PC beta on the highest settings and have 0 regrets on the decision to buy it on the XB1.
Downgrade, huh? Check out this new screenshot from The Division and tell me you aren't impressed:

Boom
Toothpaste.
The hint should have been "Everyone uses it twice a day".
Hahaha... I know, this comment thread is like the scene in nearly any action movie when a circle of armed enemies slowly put down all of their guns and back away.
32 - 64 players in next-gen Crackdown w/ a realistic physic engine?
Yes, please.
There we go!
Console neutrality leads to a better overall gaming industry.
I know!
But, look... the opposite happened. A bunch of friendly pro-Sony neutralists popped up as a result.
Cheers - we'll enjoy TF and in 2 weeks wish we could be playing Infamous: Second Son!
Azure is strong. I had faith.
Where is the instant attack of pro-Sony fanboys screaming "I TOLD YOU SO!" right now?
This is oddly refreshing.
Yeah, I agree Septic. This is just an endless stream of people pretending to be technical/economic experts. I've read "not as big as expected" and "not selling as much as they need it to" as if these people know what their internal sales goals and forecasts were.
The best part is, for as brilliant as the MS naysayers are on N4G - they seem to have an incredibly loose understanding as to why competition is good in this (and any) industry.
Exactly! I was just going to say that... it's 3 pages of people criticizing something that the vast majority clearly hasn't played.
If your PS4s are so unbelievably superior in every way imaginable; why do you spend your entire day on N4G bashing the XB1 and Titanfall?
Can we at least hope that you will all STFU when a game worth playing actually gets released for your precious PS4s?
BTW - I am platform agnostic w/ a gaming PC. I hav...
I love the commentary. So arbitrary. Discussing whether or not it is compressed?
What?!
CSI Treatment: "Enhance. Enhance. Enhance... ahhh, yes, there we go. it MUST be compressed!"
What is the decision process even based on when we have no idea what's included in their internal, closed, non-public beta likely distributed within their own development environment?
Demos are still important, but, there's just so much information and dependence on reviews - game devs probably just don't see the point anymore.
I think that a game dev who is truly confident in their product should still release early demos as a work in progress. Maybe even make it part of the Xbox Gold/Playstation Plus packages - exclusive demos to premium account holders, with costs to build the demos subsidized by MS and Sony.
Mullet physics will unravel the mysteries of the universe once we can calculate properly. To expect that MGS:GZ would have cracked the code is simply unfair.

Hahaha... it's almost like they made it 792 just to mess with the resolution trolls.
Yeah, it matters, but, only to a point.
It's a new IP, with some new ideas, getting great reviews and it is fun to play.
WTF is wrong with you people?
It looks just fine. Why are there so many TF trolls?
They even said that watching them side by side was tough to notice.
The only* thing I could personally notice was the foliage/grass... and... seriously, if you have time to look at trees and grass in Titanfall - well, you're doing it wrong.
Played it in 1440 @ 60fps+ for PC during the beta and still going with the Xbox One version.
