I'm not a CoD fan but the series hasnt peaked based on sales numbers, once again BLOPS 2 is setting pre-order records
Probably too late to change this release but for the next Juarez...
1)Use Watch Dogs engine
2)Clone Red Dead Redemption, make it even better, and release it on PC.
3)Profit
I'm sure she'll get over it with all the new hits to her blog and hundreds more creepers liking her on facebook. She left a comment in that article that leads to her FB and shes a pretty girl so she has staying power. She'll probably "explode" in popularity now with a thousand internet white knights at her back.
This is probably the next step before being in a "holodeck" for people who want complete immersion.
Carmack's goggles will be great, but it may take a few more years before a perfect one comes out. But once it gets it's killer app there will be nothing like it and everyone will want to have one.
Trying to get rid of used games completely, online pass was only a small step.
I guess you've never heard of emulators.
Im sure they would use it anyway, just in case. Claiming a 90% piracy rate is delusional.
I always wait for sales but 60 is pretty much the norm for um...years now, and if you enjoy mmos and plan on sinking the time into it its probably one of the better 60 bucks you can spend.
The game has already been on sales numerous times though, lots of pre-order deals if anyone payed attention. I'll pick it up when its 30 if im craving the game. I did have fun in beta but just so many games coming out and tons in my backlog still yet and many old ones still yet to play....

if consoles made lots of money at launch we would see a new one every few years. Launching a console puts most companies in debt, thats why companies dread a new console cycle but they continue on as not to get left behind and try to add as many new ways to make money on the new console as possible to reap the rewards years later.
Ubisoft is probably the worst of all lol.
this is actually pretty nice implementation, not worth buying a kinect for but if you already have one it would be useful for calling out plays. Being as it only needs a Mic though would like to see this in PS3 and PC though.
Its really hard for me to see anything like onlive taking off without really good marketing to casuals. Lets go ahead and say the future is now and we all have incredibly great connections. Now consider, would you rather buy a home computer that streamed games you already own + having the power of your desktop PC in general for everyday use or would you rather have a service that only provided games you bought from them?
Streaming is in our future but more so with application...
its a shame pippen wont be in, he was probably my favorite back in the day. These NBA games always seem to be 1 player short
with mass effect wrapped up and SWTOR launch well in the past I expect something from Bioware. Wouldn't surprise me to see a Mass effect FPS though, they always wanted to do one and now have experience with the ME3 mutiplayer.
Or maybe they are ready to apologize and make KOTOR 3
Most AAA developers are done with this generation, we are getting new games on old engines because in reality its probably not worth the time and money to squeeze out 1% more performance of a dying console.
But once the new consoles rear their heads the idea of a true AAA title will be reborn and exiting once again.
You can always sue, all kinds of companies have started putting this in their ULAs; but they never hold up in court.
I guess this shouldnt really come as a surprise, I think they even stated months ago that they will alternate between MoH and BF every year.
I like bf3 despite some of its nagging problems (which are sadly mostly community related - too many douchebags and terrible admins)
BF3 or one of the multitude of other games coming out will hold me over till a bf4 sale, fortunately I dont get caught up in the new game hype and feel the need to drop 60.
Im sorry but CoD and WoW are not killing their-selves. CoD still breaks sales record and WoW has 10 million subs.
Im sure they are checking their couch cushions for money @ activision/blizzard HQ.
As much as i see people hate on those games, you would think sales would suffer, but its pretty obvious that hating is just part of being an internet hipster.
As a disclaimer I am someone who doesnt really like CoD because it dumbs down the FPS gen...
DLC that actually had meaty content.
Plus it was a good game to start with in general so that left people wanting more.
I played it with 2 friends and had a great time, although we gave up on the underdome, that was one heck of a grind to do in one sitting.
I think Sony was caught off guard a bit about how successful live was, but now that all this is common knowledge and they have developed a healthy PSN, the PS4 will be in great shape since its probably been developed from the ground up with a robust PSN feature set in mind unlike the PS3 where they had to catch up and build it up post launch. You know the ps4 will be setup with Spare OS power and hardware power dedicated to the social experience that Live provides.
