Double standards. You praise Kinect for potential, yet you shoot down Move even though it is capable of the same potential.
Of course you love the hate, you are part of it.
The power of advertising is truly still alive.
Wouldn't get me buying one though, it's not gonna replace the controller anytime soon. Not on complex games anyway.
Despite 4 titles in 4 years, the quality is slipping, the wrong direction in my opinion.
I still enjoy CoD4 and WaW but MW2 went too far with killstreaks, deathstreaks, horrendous lag and awful developer support. I didn't buy BO because I wanted to wait for user feedback and heard that it was a mess, only 2 days ago I tried the single player demo and wasn't all that impressed.
I can understand why people can enjoy CoD, I just don't understand why ...
@Karl
You beat me to it.
@Raven_Nomad
CoD is and for a long time has been far from a solid online experience.
You'd think this kind of problem would have been settled before Blu-ray was made available for commercial use, I suppose this is the kind of crap you get into with joint research and development.
They're like kids fighting in a playground, although all the other companies involved in R&D of Blu-ray don't seem to have an issue.
Does anybody know what the patent infringements are, and why LG have waited this long to do anything about it?
Not entirely unexpected.
Oh yes people have the rights to modify their cars, but there are also rules and regulations to adhere to if you are going to use them on public roads.
Which seems to fit well here, modify your PS3 all you like, just keep it off public roads (PSN). I think that's the general feeling around here.
Link doesn't work
"Take-Two will benefit from being part of a large entity with deep pockets....." He forgot to mention short arms and absolutely no sense of loyalty.
Just because you don't like it, if you have played it at all, doesn't mean anybody else can't.
Personally I don't care for the reviews, although I will take exception to false claims.
I'm saying it wasn't countless delays. One delay after an official release date is not countless!
I think holy water may be the answer.
With a 5 year wait and countless delays.......Bull crap in the first few words made me stop reading.
Great read, finally someone who knows exactly what they are talking about.
Treat your customers like scum, and what! You want them bend over and take it?
Buggy as hell, really?
Would you like to furnish us with examples, I've put in many hours on this game and not experienced a single fault.
@kreate
Eyetoy was for PS2, we now have Playstation Eye which has a 4 way microphone array, perfect for voice recognition and voice direction tracking.
Typical, not on EU store. Made to wait as usual.
Looks good though.
Erm, you'll find if you bother to look around, Move was in development before the Wii.
Even so, it's an improvement on Wiimote, will you admit that Kinect can be seen as an improvement on Eyetoy, otherwise your argument is void.
Also, PS3 has had video conferencing for long while now.
All of those capabilities you listed can be done with any web cam with the right software.
Kinect may be winning but it is disappointi...
